My doctor prescribed Etoshine tablets for my spinal pain, my C5 and C6 are bulged. Is this medicine the only pain killer or cure for the disease? Please advise as I am very confused and in a lot of pain. ## This is a Cox2 Inhibitor, meaning it basically works a powerful anti-inflammatory and is commonly prescribed for these types of conditions. Most herniated discs clear up by themselves over time, your doctor is trying to get the inflammation to go down, so they will slip back where they belong. ## Complete cure is sometimes could not possible. This depends on your age. In the earlier stage of the problem, this medicine helps to cure along with someother precaustions (like physio theropy, excercises, yoga). My husband has been on the above capsule for a week. When he eats acid fruit he vomits 3 to 4 hours later. feels okay after that. Is it the tablet and should he be avoiding tomatoes and oranges? ## According to a number of sources, there are "no known" interactions with omeprazole and food or beverages. However, nicotine, caffeine and alcohol can stimulate stomach acid or delay ulcer healing. Omeprazole belongs to a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors (PPI). The proton pump is the site within the stomach cell where hydrochloric acid is actually made and pumped out into the stomach. The PPIs block the formation of acid in the stomach from 80% to over 90% if enough of the drug is taken. Because of this, I'm thinking that acid fruit would have some sort of interaction,...

Does this tablet contain steroids? Also, what are the side effects of this tablet prescribed for bronchitis/asthma? ## Doxofylline is not an steroid. This tablet contains a bronchodilator which belongs to the class of xanthine derivatives. Doxofylline is an effective medication for the treatment of bronchitis induced asthma as an add on therapy (along with inhalers or other prescribed medicine). But it is also effective as sole therapy for the management of asthma. To my knowledge, it has no serious side effects. However, Doxofylline must not be taken with any other xanthine derivative, and coffee must be avoided when taking Doxofylline because this may increase the risk of side effects like increased heart rate and palpitation.
