Hi, My 12year old son struggles to wake up @night to go and pee, and as a result he wets his bed. I took him in for a diagnosis when he was 8 and was advised that everything is fine with him. Should I be worried or is he just lazy? He likes to play a lot during the day but I don't wanna ignore this and take it for granted that it is a reason for bedwetting. Kind regards ## Get your children a bedwetting alarm. There are many alarms to chose from. I did my homework and decided to purchase the Chummie bedwetting alarm. No particular reason, just that my children wanted it. It worked wonders for my 8-year old son and 6-year old daughter. Good luck to you all.

I heard about this injection been good to control stress.... Is it true? ## Hello, Chela! How are you? This is classified by the FDA as a nutritional supplement, it contains a complex of B vitamins and is usually used to treat or prevent a deficiency in them. That said, the only way it would help stress, or any other condition is if it has been caused by a deficiency in the vital nutrients it contains. Typical side effects may possibly include administration site irritation, swelling, itching and redness. Is there anything else I can help with?

You can learn about what causes them, prevention and treatment options here: ## she is living in uae and her age is 70 years with some problem in vetebrae of back so she is on bed. ## Yes, I understand she is in bed, however, they should still be trying to move her around, every few hours, to prevent these from developing. I've been taking one .25 Xanax 3-4 times a week at bed time due to a staggered work schedule. This is going on 6 months now,it helps tremendously with sleep but I'm a bit concerned about how safe this is.Is such a small dose over many months anything I should worry about? Doc prescribed it to use on a limited 'as needed' basis. TIA for answers/opinions. ## No there is no real problem but keep this in mind. When I first started with the exact dose due to a minor skin cancer surgery I was given a 10 day supply. Now 30 years later I get about 200 times that supply in any given month. While I don't take that much, the first Doctor told me years ago you will eventually become dependent to Xanax. He was right! ## So you still take it on a regular basis? Thirty years is a l...

My doctor prescribed 25 mg at bedtime. It caused terrible nightmares and I was unable to fall back asleep after. I only took it for 3 nights then threw the rest of the pills in the garbage. ## I don't blame you for wanting to get rid of the rest of those pills. A lot of prescription drugs have side effects that are unbearable. Have you talked to your doctor yet about what happened? If you experience a serious side effect, you or your doctor may send a report to the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program online at fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch or by phone 1-800-332-1088. I hope this helps! ## Thanks David. I'm seeing the doctor on Thursday and will give a full report. Sometimes a side effect of a pill is worse than the disease.

My husband has been taking Embeda for about a week now. Every time he sits up he gets too dizzy like he passes out for about a second and falls back on the bed. Also happens when he lays down from sitting up, he gets really dizzy. ## Hello, Elaine! How is your husband doing? Has there been any change? This medication can cause severe dizziness in some people. What dosage is he currently taking? However, as reported by the FDA, it can also cause orthostatic hypotension as a side effect, that's when your blood pressure drops, when you move suddenly and it sounds like that might be what he's experiencing. Has he consulted his doctor? He needs to have this checked out as it may not be the right medication for him to take, passing out like that could be dangerous. ## Hi Verwon. I am ...

To stop bed wetting if a 16 yr.old child. ## Hello, Anna! How are you? I'm sorry about the issue your child is having. Dewitt pills are no longer being manufactured. Additionally, since the child is 16, there might be medical reasons for it, so the best thing to do would be to consult a doctor. Undiagnosed conditions, such as diabetes as well as several others, could be the cause of such an issue. Is the child on any medications? ## My daughter is 20 years and still urinating in bed. if prescribed 600 mgs of gabapetin 3 times a day, is it ok to take all 3 at bedtime instead of during the day due to drowsiness? ## Hi rita, Depending on what you're taking it for, the usual adult dose is taken orally in 3 divided doses. If you do take it all at once (which you can), then I'd imagine you'd have to take more at some point in the day when it begins to wear off; thus making you take more than you are prescribed to take. Have you talked to your doctor about upping your dosage?

Can I take the Belviq before bedtime will it affect my sleep? ## Hi Kelly, From what I've researched, the manufacturer's dosing instructions that are listed in the Prescribing Information, state that you're supposed to take one 10mg tablet twice daily. It doesn't specify if any of the doses are best taken at night or during the day. However, if I were to adhere to these instructions, it would make sense to take one in the morning hours and one in the afternoon or evening hours in order to spread out its effects throughout the day; unless instructed to do otherwise by your doctor. Not being a patient, I don't know if Belviq has a stimulating effect, but if it does, that would probably be best determined in the morning dose so that you can get a feel for how it works e...
