I was prescribed Lyrica today. Being the impatient person that I am, I was wondering the normal lenth of time before the medication starts working. ## It took a week for me. What were you prescribed Lyrica for? I started taking it after surgery on my cervical spine and for some reason started having panic attacks or something, dizziness and heart racing, only at night when trying to rest. After being on Lyrica for a week, those symptoms stopped, (not sure why or how it worked). I am now having low back problems and those symptoms have started again, so as of today they have increased my dose of Lyrica. I sure hope it works. ## Depending on the severity of your pain and your own metabolism, it can take anywhere from a week to a month to see results from this. ## I was put on Lyrica recen...

Anyway, I am out and just popping Ibuprofen and on Lyrica for 2 days now. When will it help?? ## From what I have read it will take about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. Hang in there! ## I have been Lyrica for four weeks. I have started feeling very sad, and thinking of suicide. I have had 5 back surgeries. And am in some pain in the range of 6-7 at all times. I have been taking Belviq for almost 4 months. I have lost 30 pounds but have a lot more to lose. The last month I have plateaued - no weight loss at all. How long should a person be on this medication? ## You can be on Belviq indefinitely. If you have not had any weight loss in a month you might try increasing your exercise or asking your Physician if you can temporarily add Phentermine to get you over this hurdle. ## Thanks Sherie! I go to the doc on Monday and will ask about the phen. With the cost of Belviq I can't continue indefinitely anyway?? ## In addition to the helpful advice Sherie provided, I just wanted to note that sometimes drastic goals call for drastic lifestyle changes in more than 1 area...whereas increasing exercise may only be a single ingredient within a larger...

Unless your child is premature or ill, you can breastfeed while taking this antibiotic, it hasn't been known to harm a healthy infant. I'm looking for a new pain management Doctor near King of Prussia Pa. I've been a chronic pain patient for about 10 years. Had low back & beck surgery with hardware. I don't want to write a long drawn out story. My question is to Lee C or anyone that can help me. I'm presently taking Oxycodone 30's 6 x's day. My body has become so immune to it that it is only working to relieve my pain for about an hour. I believe that I need a longer acting medication with the Oxycodones. However, I don't seem to get much help from my doctor. Therefore, I'm looking for a new pain management Doctor near the King of Prussia Pa area. Can anyone provide me with some suggestions? Thank you.

How long after Xtandi has reduced PSA levels to zero or almost zero does it take for PSA levels to start to rise and I will have to find another step in treatment? ## Hi Marlee, I'll be honest, I don't know anything about PSA levels or what that stands for medically, BUT, looking at the estimated half life of Xtandi (enzalutamide) you can get a really good idea of how long it will be working in your body since your last dose. According to The University of Utah, the mean half life of Xtandi is 5.8 days with a broad range of anywhere between 2.8 – 10.2 days. So if Xtandi reduced your PSA levels shortly after ingestion, it will take about 5 days for half of that dose to be eliminated from your body; and then another 5 days for half of that remaining half to be eliminated, an...

I have been on Belviq for 2 years. I lost all my weight about 75 Pounds. I have maintained for a year. My doctor has kept me on it. I went to a new Dr and they wont let me continue on the medicine. It really has helped me control my hunger. I have changed my lifestyle and eating habits but I have a HUGE appetite. Is it harmful to stay on it if you are t a normal weight and it helps you stay there? Also when I have stopped before I get so sick, like the worst case of the flu. ## You can take it, as long as your doctor feels it is safe for you to take it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia, and anorexia. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? What symptoms did you experience, when you tried to stop it?

Hello everyone! I was just wandering if anybody else is sometimes off by the timing of taking their suboxone? My Dr. Told me 2 try and take it at the same time every day. But a lot of times I'm off by 2-4 hours. Reason being is, I'm up a lot of nights in pain ( sometimes, half the night.) and, I'll take it a little earlier, or, fall back 2 sleep, and take it a little later. I get u/a every time I go 2 Dr. And, I don't want it 2 effect my results. I do only take the amount I'm suppose 2. This just started happening recently. ## Hi Cats68, Being off a few hrs here and there shouldn,t effect your dose or u/a. Subs have an unbelievably long half life. My sub dr. told me that as far as pain is concerned subs only give relief for around 10hrs. Thats why he has me taking it...

OK, I've taken 1/4 of a 2/8mg suboxone for about 7 days, but I only would take that dose once a day. Now today is my first day not taking suboxone. It's been a full 24 hours. Can I take my pain meds (percocet 10mg) and feel it and not get sick? ## @lady luv, Based on the vast majority of feedback I've seen in other related threads here, the usual wait time is 2-5 days in-between taking Suboxone then opiates (like the Oxycodone; in Percocet). However, because everyone's case is different, these figures are only intended to be a rough estimate. And if I were in your shoes, I'd probably only feel the need to wait another day or two just to be sure that your receptors are clear. Others may suggest less time from their experience, since you've only been taking a small...

If so, please kindly give the suggestion. ## Evion is just a nutritional supplement that contains Vitamin E. It is vital to your overall health and the health of your hair, skin and nails, but it will not actually stop hair loss that has other causes. It is basically considered safe to take, unless your doctor has said that you shouldn't, or if you exceed the recommended dosage amounts. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## EVION 400 HAS BEEN PRESCRIBED BY MY GYNAECOLOLIST FOR my problem of sagging of breast a...

From what I've read it's a good product for infertility. Metformin is an oral antidiabetic drug in the biguanide class. It is the first-line drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, in particular, in overweight and obese people and those with normal kidney function. However, I've read that it is sometimes prescribed to help women with infertility issues. Siphene is used to treat infertility in women who are not o...
