diet pill ## How does banatal work? what are the side effects? How much does it cost? ## @G-man, According to Livestrong.com, Banital contains a combination of herbs, including phaseolamin, banana leaf, gymnema sylvestre, and citrus aurantium. Some of the ingredients in Banital could possibly support weight loss. Whether Banital leads to weight loss is unclear. Clinical data to support most of the manufacturers claims are lacking. Some of the herbs in Banital have the possibility to cause side effects on their own, such as: headache, restlessness and upset stomach. There are no studies examining the safety and efficacy of taking that combination of herbs together. Citrus aurantium, better known as bitter orange, can have potentially serious side effects, especially when combined with ca...

Hi all, I wanted to find out why Actifed (as a brand) got banned by the United and states and JNJ stopped producing it and came up with Sudafed. Is there a reason why? Is there a link to the legal suit that was filed against a JnJ. Any information about why JnJ stopped producing it would help. Thanks. ## Irebel is on the right track. One of the ingredients in Actifed was Pseudoephedrine [1], and due to regularly increasing rates of abuse, and large purchases used to manufacture illicit substances, its status was changed, and to gain better control of the supply, it was moved behind the pharmacy counter, so someone could only purchase a certain amount, plus they had to sign for it, and show identification when buying it. Once this happened, it severely cut down on sales, and some manufac...

a weight lose medicine ## banatoll/how much? is it safe? is how much does it cost? ## Sorry, I can't really find any information on this, does anyone else know anything about it? ## I believe the correct spelling of this is Banatol, and it appears to be an opiate based anti diarrhea medication. In some states in the US it was marketed as an over-the-counter drug, although I have been unable to confirm its availability. Of course the information above could be wrong, since I did not find anything which mentioned Banatol as a diet pill. Does anyone else have any other details? ## Is banatoll safe, if you are taking other medications?

I just received a prescription from my primary care doctor. I asked him for it and he agreed to a few month trial and monitor blood pressure. I'm about 50 pounds overweight. I had taken didrex in the 80's and it worked well! He prescribed benzphetamine a generic form. It has the same effect as the brand name I used to take. It is pink, round and stamped with k40 on it. I'm sure there are other generic brands. The answer to is it banned is no, but my pharmacy had to order it. It's certainly not banned in tennessee! ## It is still available, as a generic, as you said, but many doctors prefer to use more recently discovered medications that have undergone more safety testing. The FDA warns that you should not imbibe in alcoholic beverages, while taking this medication, due ...

I'm looking for the old formulation of Actifed. Are there any countries that still sell it? I know you can use it to make drugs, but it's the only thing that works for me (and it helps me sleep too). I would not have ANY problem having the FBI at my house if I could get some. They'd be sitting on my shelf just exactly like my 16 bottles of shampoo, 42 bars of soap and 18 boxes of bandaids (I'm not a hoarder, I just hate running out of stuff...and stupidly, before that stuff went away, I didn't buy a ton of it). The stuff they sell behind the counter is a reformulation....it's different. ## Actually, Janet, those are the ingredients in the new formulation. can i no why cold act tablet banned from India. Please let me know ## Hello, I'm not sure if the information I'm finding is referring to a specific country or if it's just in general. But from what I could gather, over the counter sales of cold tablets which use the methamphetamine precursors "ephedrine and pseudoephedrine" are said to be banned soon under a new parliament. Although they are effective cold remedies, the reason behind the ban is that these ingredients are used for the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine; and when the bill becomes law the tablets which use them will then be available by prescription-only. Perhaps there may be other underlying reasons behind this ban in India, but you would have to confirm this with your local pharmacy for more detai...
