I recently moved to Gadsden area and I am looking for a good PCP that is not judgmental and/or a psychiatrist that is not afraid to right scripts to treat anxiety and ADHD. My previous PCP managed my symptoms with Xanax, Adderall and Oxycodone but from what I have heard most docs in AL do not write meds to help and send you to all kinds of specialist. If anyone has recommendations of doctors in AL please let me know. If it is a sincere doctor I would drive as far as Huntsville, Guntersville or even Birmingham. Please help the new chic on the block.... ## Hello, Bama Chic! How are you? The doctors no longer have a choice in this matter, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year. I'm on my third day. Today I have a severe headache. But my question is this, has anyone had bad diarrhea? I get cramps, then bam. But I was feeling better by night. Today is the worst. Should I continue or stop? ## Hello, Shercon! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the way you're feeling. Those can be normal side effects of Contrave and it may take about a month for them to wear off, as your body gets used to the medication. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include dry mouth, dizziness and nausea. Have you consulted your doctor? Unless they feel there is some reason to be concerned, you should most likely continue taking it. ## Verwon -- are you taking Contrave? ## I'm on Contrave and the stomach discomfort wore off, very mild headache left to...

Had my Dr change my ER med to Oxymorphone. Went to Walgreens and they told me NO generic. Talked to the other Pharmacist, he looked it up and BAM, they had them from actavis!! Saved me 80.00!!!! So, the Pharmacist dont even know they have them ## I'm glad you were able to find it and save so much money! But you do have to go a little easy on the pharmacist that wasn't aware, especially at a large store like Walgreens. He has a lot of duties and may not always be able to keep up with all the new drug release information. There are more important things he has to give priority to, such as keeping up on new drug side effects, interactions and warnings. Ordering the stock and etc. It can be a pretty hectic job. found round white tab/pill with either 801 or 108. could this be oxycodone or promethazine. the other side, by the way is scored. ## Hi bamm, From what I could gather, a round white pill marked with "108" on one side and scored on the other, is identified as a 25mg Promethazine tablet. Promethazine is most commonly used to treat symptoms of motion sickness (such as nausea, vomiting, and dizziness), but also has other uses ranging from anxiety to allergies. For verification, this particular tablet is manufactured by Caraco Pharma and has a National Drug Code of 57664-0108. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Promethazine Details Does this sound like a viable match?

My pharmacist changed manufacturers and this is what I was given for my percocet 10/325. Can anyone help verify if this is the correct medicine? ## @BamBam, A white oblong pill imprinted with I 71 is reportedly identified as Bupropion HCL extended-release (300 mg), which is an antidepressant medication. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Cipla USA and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 69097-0876. I'm not sure why the pharmacist would say that this is Percocet, as surely they are mistaken based on the pill description. I would contact them right away if you haven't done so already... Hope this helps!

Been on these meds for about 6 weeks on and off lyrica 225mg twice a day and clorazapate 7.5 twice a day. Am I physically dependent I want to be off them ## Hello, Bam! How are you? Both of these should be stopped slowly, via a taper, because stopping abruptly can create the risk of seizures. Thus, it would be best to consult your prescriber, so they can help you stop them carefully. The FDA lists other withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, fever, chills, depression and anxiety. Is there anything else I can help with?

green long oval tablet 805 on one side and what appears to be a fancy A on the other side. ## I had complete hysterectomy in 1989. Took no HR after that until I hit 50 and then BAM! So I took Estratest and it worked fast and well for many years. In 2004 the doctor said I should get off it, so I did. Then I went nuts with horrible hot flashes, and decided to get cheaper meds, so they gave me estrogenmtest HS, which is MUCH cheaper. I took only 3X/wk and lately started taking 7 days a week since the flashes came back. I have had headaches and dizziness for days now and even a bit of nausea. I have not gained weight, but I certainly have not lost any weight; I do not eat much, so ... you would expect me to lose something. I never had any reactions to the estratest taken years ago, but now,...

For me and my child Cyclopam is a life saver. My son suffered severe nausea and vomiting; couldn't retain any liquids or solids. We took him to the doctor who prescribed Cyclopam Syrup. 5ML three times - BAM!!! He recovered the next day back to normal. I have not seen any side effects. I tried it on myself and it worked. Well, certain drugs are meant to be taken with precaution with expectations of side effects. There is no medication without having any side effects. Doctor recommends it because it is needed to your medication condition. If you think too much about the side effects, refrain from taking any medications. Try yoga, breathing, Ayurveda medicines but you would not get immediate benefits!!! ## Hi ConTx, Glad to hear you found something that works for you and your child. I...

I began to taper off Paxil in late 2018/early 2019 (I was on 40mg for almost 10 years.) I went from 40mg to 0mg in not even 2months. It was a fast taper. I was fine for a few short months then BAM...all hell broke loose. It's been almost 4 years now and I have zero relief. I am so sick physically and mentally, in pain. I feel like I died in 2018. I was never the same after taking my final pill of Paxil. I feel as time goes on I'm getting sicker. I'm grieving my old life everyday and think I'll never be the same. ## What condition was being treated with the Paxil? I'm just curious. I received ol-tram in my prescription refill that is an all white circular pill with no markings. Blister pack says ol-tram Tramadol Hydrochloride 50 mg. Anyone else know if these are real tramadol ## @bambirose, From what I've researched, OL-TRAM is reported to be a foreign brand name of Tramadol. However, its legitimacy probably depends on where or how you came about obtaining them, since as you may know, many pharmacies overseas can often be unreliable. There are also several other discussion threads here on this same topic, where most individuals note having received their blister packs from Hab Pharmaceuticals in India. I don't know if this is the case with your situation, but if it is, this particular manufacturer actually lists OL-Tram on their websi...

Can I use this Amoxicillin from 2013 for a. Sinus infection and ear infection my face is hurting and earache is it safe to take thus since it has expired what happens when amoxicillin expires ## Hello, Bambi! How are you? This medication does not become toxic, once expired, but it does start to lose efficacy, so it may not work as well as it did, when it was new, which also creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Thus, it would be best to see your doctor for a new prescription, if an infection is present. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
