For treatment of UTI in a male with an old history of the disease which will be a better optiion, Balofloxacin or Norfloxacin ? Is there some still better treatment. Result of urine culture has shown several anti microbial drugs to which the bacteria is sensitive. ## I am afraid I don't have much information on Balofloxacin, because it isn't used in the U.S. However, Norfloxacin is frequently used to treat UTIs. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, joint/tendon problems and diarrhea.
