Please, has anyone else taken pregabalin and experienced lost of memory and words? I've been on it for 5 years and I'm really feeling messed up and can't remember what happened yesterday and stuff. ## Hello, Robbie! How are you? I have been losing my memory real bad and didn't understand why. I tried to get my doctor to change the medicine but he wouldn't. ## The statins of which Lipitor is part can cause clinical dementia. Stop the Lipitor you stop the dementia. Try using Red Yeast Rice or 1/4 cup of ground flax seed per day. I have been taking Lyrica about six months. I have been taking other meds for pain. I have stopped taking the pain RX Tramadol. I still have memory problems, but I started this week taking just one Lyrica ( I was taking two a day 75 mg). ## THE FDA WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT THE BAD EXPERIENCES WITH LYRICA. My mother has been taking Bystolic 5 mg for a few years. She has also had problems with short term memory loss in that same time period. The memory problem is worsening and I'm worrying that she might be taking the Bystolic twice. If it has caused the memory issues to start with, a double dose would be a very bad thing. Has anyone else connected Bystolic with memory loss? There are mentions of it on numerous sites, but they all say don't go off Bystolic on your own. Any thoughts?? ## Hello, Becky! How are you? My past Dr. gave me lyrica and every since then I've had several seizures, 2 while driving, 5 times I woke up in the middle of the night sleeping on my picnic table. One of my car accidents I was having a seizure and I drove up three electrical wires. My husband said that I had brought in glasses of gasoline a few times and I woke up in my driveway and split the back of my head open. I have a really bad memory these past 5yrs. I've been taking gabapentin the past 7yrs, I also take oxycodone, oxymorphone, mobic and stopped taking valium and a muscle relaxer about a year ago. I don't consume cannabis anymore. It's been about 15 yrs since I have. But when I did smoke back in the day I smoked a lot for a good 10yrs. I've noticed lately that I cant remember anything. When someone introduces themselves I just totally forget 2 mins later. I have tried the trick where you say the person's name over 5x's or use it in a sentence to help remember. But to no avail. Even at work, I'm told 3 things to do, I only remember 2 of them, or when it's time to do a task at work I just totally forget. It's affecting my job and making me look very stupid...

Has anyone had a bad reaction like I recently experienced? I was super stressed out and normally I take ativan for my anxiety, but was out and have been for a few months since I want to change doctor. Instead I had some of the teva 54 buspirone and a klonopin and I was so stressed about leaving my apt but really wanted to go to an event with a friend. I have been on Lyrica for about 8 months now and I am having fantastic results. My dr is trying to increase my dosage and I have been doing it in 50 mg increments. I am up 100 more now in a month, for a total dosage of 400mg. I find that I have very bad recall and loss of my vocabulary during conversation. It eventually goes away, but I was wondering if anyone else has this? If it keeps up, I just may have to drop back down 50mg until I get used to it? That seemed to work that last time I had to raise it.BTW, I have nerve pain in my ribcage. I have noticed that by taking the amphetmine salts (adderall) for many years, my memory has deteriorated. I am 45 years old and that should not be. Has any testing been done to know if I am correct? It is strange. I am focusing & memory is strong w/the medication in my system, but as soon as it wears off, memory is very bad. ## It is most likely due to the withdrawal of it wearing off, according to NIH reports. I JUST stopped taken 200mg of Topamax 2 times a day. i was experiencing swollen ankles. SO swollen i could barely walk. did anyone else have that bad of swelling? Taste was changed. I'm 37 years old. For the better part of my adult years I have experienced memory loss. I get confused as to where I leave things. keys, purse, etc.. This past Friday, I had an allergic reaction to Nubain. Within 5 minutes of the injection I was experiencing all over body burning chills. Within the next 20 minutes, 911 was called. 4 EMT's arrived to find me on the bed having convulsions and screaming. It too 2 of them to hold me down so benedryl cound be administered. My doctor recently prescribed Lipitor for me. I took 2 pills and had such a bad reaction I stopped it at once. I felt so spaced out that things did not appear normal.
