I'm a pharmacist trying to identify some mexican drug names told to me by a patient. One was "Soltrim"...which I discovered was Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim ("Bactrim" in the USA). But I can't find what the trade names "Enzmat" and "Espabion" are. What are their generic names and what are they used for/classification? ## From what I can find, it is likely that your patient meant Anzemet, which contains the active ingredient Dolasetron, which is used to treat or prevent nausea and vomiting. Large, 750 mg with what looks like a G340 or 6340 imprint on one side and scored down the middle of the other side. ## Need help identifying ## A large, white, oblong tablet with the marking G340 on it contains 800mgs of Sulfamethoxazole and 160mgs of Trimethoprim, the active ingredients in Bactrim. My wife found a partially dissolved (cannot read anything on itl) pill in the bottom of our washing machine. It is the same shape as a hydrocodone although he does take acne medicine that is called bactrim. which is a much larger pill but it could have just dissolved alot in the washer. the shape is similar. I dont honestly think my son uses drugs but I wanted to be safe ## Without any identifying markings, the only way to be sure would be to have it checked by a lab, which can be rather expensive. However, most Bactrim tablets, and its generics, are shaped the same way, so it is most likely that he had a Bactrim tablet in his pocket, intending to take it, but forgot and it ended up in the washer.
