I have a tooth infection and 2 bottles of ampicilina 500mg (I am not allergic to penicillin). Will this help my tooth infection? Can a person become immune to this drug? Today is my second day on Doxycycline and I am currently going back and forth to urinate. And the burning is outrageous. ## Hello, Renea! How are you? I've taken Elmiron since 2012. Honestly, I found that I had bacterial infections that were not found by a normal lab. I used PathOGenius, in Lubbock TX. Can I use mupirocin and triamcinolone to effectively treat a bacterial skin infection ? ## What type of bacterial skin infection? Has it been confirmed by your doctor? Topical ointments are really only going to help with a topical infection, that would be one that's just on the very first layer of skin. Anything deeper than that is going to require a systemic antibiotic to eradicate, which means either taking it orally or by IV.

i was recently prescribed bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) for an infected burn. on the second day, i woke up with a really sore throat. by night, i had a fever, and the next morning, i had a sinus infection--which i used to get chronically from about 11 years ago, up until 4 years ago, in which time ive only had one. a day later i had a productive cough, semi bad but nowhere near as bad as the bronchitus the sinus infections would, after months, eventually turn into. those infectionswere clearly bacterial as whenever I did end up taking antibiotics, they always ended within a few days. I was prescribed this 4 days ago for a horrible ear infection brought on by a sinus infection, and no relief.
