Is it safe to eat grapefruit while taking Clofen? ## Hi Carmel, Clofen contains the active ingredient Baclofen. I did find that in the safety information, it states the following: "Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you take Baclofen Tablets." However, there was no other information or details explaining this interaction or how long one should wait before or after their dose if they want to have this fruit. In any case, if you really want to indulge in grapefruit, I would suggest going off of how you feel with a little bit here and there in between doses, then not having any grapefruit altogether for a few weeks to compare the effects of the medication, including how you feel. I am on several medications and trying to see if grapefruit is going to interact with any of them I'm not very good at using the web so was looking for some help. I am on baclofen, clonazepam, gabapentin, morphine sulfate, omeprazole, oxybutynin, tizanidine, trazadone, and enoxaparin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Hello, Moe! How are you?
