Why are the manufacturers allowed to put a specific medicine that is used by millions of children and their bodies are adjusted to the meds to be put on backorder across the United States? What are the parents supposed to do in order to handle their autistic children with ADHD because the manufacturers want to be less than efficient, thereby causing additional medical problems. ## I'm sorry that you're having a problem and I do understand your concern about your child, but in some cases, this isn't something that can be prevented. I take generic Adderall 20 mg for narcolepsy and there is not one local pharmacy that has it in stock. I have never had this problem before. The pharmacies are saying that it's on backorder from the manufacturer. Is anyone else having problems getting their scripts filled? ## I live in Southern NH. why is exforge backordered? ## I'm sorry, I can't find any information listing it as being backordered, or stating that the manufacturer has reported a shortage. Was it your pharmacy that told you this? Have you talked to your doctor about something you can use in the meantime?

I have been unable to get Clozapine (generic for Clozaril) since Feb. 2019 at my regular pharmacy alledgely due to "backorder". I don't believe "backorder" is the real reason. I live in NJ and I recently read that many of the generic drug houses are being investigated due to collusion. They are trying to drive up the prices of these meds and the way to do it is through collusion. I note that Adderall and other psychiatric meds are also on backorder. I live in Sacramento, ca and I went to CVS and Walmart and both of them said they were on back order. Cvs carrier Mylan and Walmart carries Roxy’s. This is so frustrating!! I found a mom and pa shop that has them but literally the same time last year they pulled this same stunt. Seems that most of the generic Ritalin manufacturers are back ordered. All the pharmacies I have called are out. Is there another medication I can request from my doctor. I take 20mg 3X daily ## Have you tried actually going to the pharmacies, with your prescription in hand to see if they have it in stock? Since Ritalin is a controlled substance, a phone call will usually not get you an accurate answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the line is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. Otherwise, the alternatives, such as Adderall, may also be difficult to find, as we've had similar complaints from people that need to fill their prescriptions for it, as well.

Cant find these chewable tables anywhere, pharmacy says was discontinued. I used to take oxycodone and oxycontin but they are impossible to fine. I switched to methadone and diladid and am now having trouble finding dilaudid 8 mg. Is there something I can substitute four them. I have severe pain and have been on pain meds for 20 yrs. I do not take more than prescribed or sell my meds. So, each store is raising the price, not the manufacturer. Go to the small private pharmacies. I've been told they will have the medication in stock. I have read so many people posting that they can't get their pain meds. What is scary is people who are in chronic pain, are now in danger of withdrawal. My roommate has had her 5/325 on backorder for 3 week's now We're in Vegas, I to take pain meds and last month I went to Walgreen's like normal and they were out of my meds, to boot the pharmacist treated me in such rude behavior. The pharmacy said that my original ratio of oxycodone/apap was on backorder and they sent me sandoz oxycodone instead. I am having a constant dull headache since the substitution. I am trying to find out who manufactures this medication. I have been to my pharmacy multiple times and keep being told it is on backorder. Under normal situations I would just look elsewhere but my insurance company insists I use only this pharmacy. I have been getting the generic version Ziac 5-6.25 for years from Prescription Solutions. Now they say it is unavailable with no future date of availability. What is going on? ## I have no information on why there is a shortage, but there is one currently reported by Sandoz, they list it as being backordered. Have you spoken to your doctor? They may be able to suggest an alternative medication, or prescribe separate tablets of the Bisoprolol and Hydrochlorothiazide.
