Back Pain And Leg Swelling

Has anyone experienced leg pain and swelling. I have been on votrient for 12 weeks and now I'm having severe leg pain I already have a blood clot in my left leg, but now my right leg is in pain when I walk. I'm totally concerned as I have experienced several side effects. But this side effect would be better than a blood clot. ## Hello, Kocoa! How are you? You may also experience nausea, dizziness, change in hair color, weight loss and myalgia. However, since you do have a history of clots, you should have it checked out by your doctor to be sure. I took Lyrica for about 8 weeks and felt horrible on it. I had pretty much every side effect you could think of. I began having pitting edema in my legs and extreme pain on the solesof my feet. I weaned off of it and now 6 plus weeks later I am still having swelling and foot pain. Has anyone else experienced this? ## Yes I have had the feet problem. I will be sound asleep and awake to what feels like someone stabbing the heals of my feet with an ice pick. my right hand is so swollen, all numb and very painful. the left hand is fine. anyone have this problem? Only asking because what you're describing is usually commonly associated with those types of conditions. Additionally, "swelling of the arms, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs" is listed as a general side effect of Lyrica. I am taking following medicines: For BP : Telma Am 40mg & Prolomet XL 50 MG - one each in the morning Telma AM 40 Mg & Prolomet XL 25 MG - one each in the night For Diabetes : Invokana 100 MG - one in the Morning with Tea & Glycomet 1GM - after Breakfast and Dinner. Sugar and BP i s reasonably under control. But I have swelling in the ankles and tightness , pain , sometimes numbness. I have been on Eliquis for about a month. I have some itching, weight gain, and swelling in my legs and feet that has become very painful. Also frequent urination. They are taking me off the meds. Taking xarelto and left leg is swollen, tight and very painful from the knee up to the groin area. Have any idea what this could be? ## I have similar problems after 4 months on Xarelto. My left knee also has weird tightness and all joints are extremely stiff. I was a very active 51 year-old that went to feeling 71 in a matter of weeks. I have been on Sintrom for 6 months after an incident of DVT and last week I switched to Xarelto taking 20mg/day. Since then I have noticed slight pain and swelling to my leg. Hi, I am on Xarelto for three months due to a blood clot in the lower calf left leg. I have been suffering with a pain to the left side of my neck my the lymph node travelling down my left arm. Now my neck is getting stiff and I feel like I have a lump in my throat. Should I be concerned? ## I, too, have a blood clot in my right lower calve. I have chronic pain my lower back. Experiencing horrible swelling now in both legs feet and toes. Was on 100 mg of Lyrica. About a month ago I was put on 150 mg of Lyrica. Now I have very horrible swelling in both legs lower than the knee to my feet which I can barely walk on and my toes. I do take other medications like blood pressure and others now doctor has me on Lasix the past three weeks. No we leave except potassium dropped . Which I take Klor con for potassium supplement i’ve been using I had to use a little bit more. So my legs feel cold sometimes but they also get very hot tingly not really tingly but just very painful. Seems to be also in my left hand my pinky my outer hand. I have been on Xarelto 20 mg.for about a month now and I have noticed my feet, ankles and lower legs swell worse. I do have Lymph edema in lower legs though so I have to consider that as well. I use a Lymph edema pump to keep the swelling down. But my legs have been more sore and painful since I have been on Xarelto. I was on Warfarin for years for blood clot history in my lower left leg. I have twisted my knee going in a door. It snaps alot when walking. Cannot kneel on it, very hard to bend it as it is swollen all the time. When I get up after sleeping or laying down for awhile. It is had to move my leg to get up or bend it. Physio therapy is hard. Swells all the time. Sometimes it feels like it is not connected or it is stuck. Any idea? .

I have been on Viibryd 40 mg almost since the first day it came out and was one of the lab rats when it was in clinical trials. I loved it because it made me feel normal. I have noticed though for about 18 months I have issues with leg swelling, water retention and significant abdominal bloat that won't go away. I am going to try going down to 20 mg. Any one else have these issues? Did they get better with a reduced dose? I started metoprolol about 6 months ago, and after a few weeks on it, I started having pain in my upper legs (thigh area) and sometimes lower legs. I complained to Dr and they say it’s not from the med. I never had a leg problem and it’s getting worse. After sitting, when I get up my legs feel heavy and painful. I have been on Xarelto 5 days now, after being switched off Coumadin when I was in the hospital for blood clots in multiple arm veins. On the 3rd day of Xarelto, started to get tightness in my calf and a little bit in thigh. Slowly it is getting worse, as well as knee pain. Have been on rivaroxaban for 6 months after clots in lung diagnosed was told I would be on it for life. Then clot dispersed after further tests by another hospital thank goodness, so I have come off it. I have had worsening leg pain when in bed that would wake me sometimes 6 times a night. Felt pain deep in calf and developed a varicose vein which swelled only when in bed at night. Was tested for dvt none found. Came off rivaroxaban and ever since stopping it a week ago I have had no pain in leg at night no swelling of vein in leg and only get up on average once during the night.
