Mint Balm Cream Lemon Balm Herb, Melissa officinalis

Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis)[note 1] is a perennial herbaceous plant in the mint family and native to south-central Europe, the Mediterranean Basin, Iran, and Central Asia, but now naturalized elsewhere. It grows to a maximum height of 1m (3ft 3in). The leaves have a mild lemon scent. During summer, small white flowers full of nectar appear. It is not to be confused with bee balm (genus Monarda), although the white flowers attract bees, hence the genus Melissa (Greek for "...

I am currently using a cream prescribed by my foot doctor, Ketamine10% Flurbiprofen10% Baclofen4% Verapamil7% Tetracaine2%. I had to have the lab adjust the formular with my doctors approval, to it current percentage as the original formular was useless. It works a bit better, but I feel it could use some more tweeking. Any suggestions? Also I recently injured my knee and have been using it on that as well. I've read the comments above and plan to discuss some of these options when I see the knee guy in a couple of weeks :( Thank you ## Hello, Jeff! How are you? As a topical cream, this really isn't going to alleviate intense pain. There's only so much it will do, since you don't really absorb much of the medications, at all. And no, I've no suggestions for tweaking,...

GPI -2 cream (in pump) sent to me by pharmacy for back pain. Delivery driver left package on porch in the heat. It has separated. Clear liquid at the top cream on bottom. Tried shaking it, but nothing changed. (The clear liquid also comes out when you shake). As medication is very expensive, wondering if there is any way that I can still use it. ## Hello, Charli! How are you? It's likely that it just needs mixed back together. This actually isn't a pre-existing product, this is something specially ordered by your doctor, which is then created just for you, according to those specifications and separation can occur with them. The only side effect normally experienced with this is skin irritation at the application site. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Found this cream ...

Can a man use canex crean on his private part when he have some balls their? ## Hello, Don! How are you? I can't find anything that specifically lists what the ingredient is in Canex, there are various things claiming what it is, but nothing verified. However, it is listed as being an antifungal agent that can be used to treat yeast infections and other fungal skin infections, which means that it can be used by men or women, it is not gender specific. However, it will only treat fungal infections, according to the information I found, so you should see your doctor for a proper diagnosis, before using it. If your problem is caused by something else, such as a virus or bacterial infection, then this cream isn't going to help. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Hi I woul...

for eczema, psoriasis- seeping, cracking, blistering skin- I personally used it from the age of 6 mos. in 1955 to 1988, then it disappeared from shelves- it was an over the counter cream and it really worked. At the age of 3 months my skin would swell, crack and seep a clear liquid- a pediatrician introduced the cream to my mother and at the time they had a bar soap, shampoo and cream-of which I used occasionally over the course of 30 years then all of a sudden it disappeared. I did have part of a jar I used sparingly and guarded with my life and I called the company that made the cream and they said that they took the recipe out of circulation. The jar is long gone- sadly and I do not know the name of the pharmaceutical company that originally made it. I now am entering menopause and m...

I live in Brisbane Australia and am beside myself as I have been told by 'Johnson Pacific' that my precious 'Retin A' cream 0.5% manufactured by Janssen-Cilag has been globally discontinued. 'Retrieve' does not compare for me- it is made with a different base product, I have tried it and it does not work for me the way Retin A cream does. I have been using Retin A cream for over 20 years, originally for pimples, which is great- but the way it keeps my skin looking so clear, fresh and unmarked is amazing (I stay out of the sun)-i depend on this cream so much; does anyone know what the equivalent could be here in Australia or Over-Seas. Thanks. ## Retrieve is the next best thing, there is a brand called SteviA or something along those lines but it's hard to fin...

I get rashes in my groin after long walks, making difficult to walk. I am using Betamil GM and Lichens ointment. Now I have been prescribed Lobate GM. What to do? ## Hi Kirti, Sorry to hear about the challenging rashes you've been facing. Based on my research, Lobate GM contains the active ingredients Clobetasol, Miconazole, and Neomycin. This cream is geared specifically for treating various skin conditions, such as dryness, crusting, itching, redness, scaling, inflammation, and even bacterial & fungal infections. It's really an all-in-one type of ointment in that regard. You can learn more about each ingredient on the pages for Clobetasol Details, Miconazole Details, and Neomycin Details. Thought there would be some instructions and side effect information in the bag when I picked up my prescription, but don't have any info. Can you help? ## Hi Dean, The Gaba stands for Gabapentin and the Lido stands for Lidocaine. I'm not entirely certain of the other abbreviation, but do have my suspicions that it stands for Amitriptyline. Both Amitriptyline and Gabapentin are known for coming in pill form and I have also heard of Gabapentin being mixed in these types of creams by compounding pharmacies. However, I have not been able to verify the same when it comes to Amitriptyline. I just don't see any other medication name with this prefix. Aside from the prefix, the other thing that leads me to believe that Amit stands for Amitriptyline is that NIH lists it as being mar...

Does contact dermatitis ever go away completely. I have used the .05 percent cream. It subsided while I was using it but came right back even after a refill tube. Is the next step to use the .12 percent cream ## Hi, Linda! Sorry about the problem that you're having. I get it too, so I know it can be quite annoying. Contact dermatitis is actually caused by an allergic reaction to something, so they only way to get it to go away permanently would be to discover what substance or substances are causing the allergic reaction and avoid them in the future. Have you visited an allergist/immunologist? They can usually test you for various substances that you may commonly be exposed to in order to figure out what the triggers may be.

Where can I buy it ## Hi Michelle, The original Borofax ointment (boric acid 5% + lanolin) was actually discontinued in 1993 due to some toxic effects attributed to boric acid. Apparently though, the manufacturer of Borofax reformulated the product and began selling it again. The active ingredients in the new formulation are Zinc Oxide 15% and white petrolatum 68.6%. The newer product does not contain boric acid. The new formulation of Borofax (with Zinc oxide) is available, but may not be routinely stocked by pharmacies on shelves. So a pharmacist may have to special order it for you. Most popular diaper rash products available today contain the similar ingredients. Common examples include: Desitin cream with 40% Zinc oxide, lanolin, and white petrolatum. Balmex cream and A+D cream als...

BETAMETASONA & CLOTRIMAZOL & GENTAMICINA ## Have been using Barmicil Compuesto Cream which I purchased at Walmart in Acapulco....Is this a safe cream and, if so, where can it be purchased in the USA???? ## I have been using Barmicil for several skin problems such as sores, pimples, rosacea, ringworms, and gotten excellent healing of ailments, with no skin scarring. I buy it in Progreso, MX for about $3.00 a tube. This lasts for months.
