How are you? Which antidepressant are you taking? The main concern between combining an antidepressant with some herbal products, such as St. John's Wort is that it creates the risk of your developing an excess build up of serotonin, which could be fatal. Can the tablet containing only vitamin b6,b9,b12,c,E,all type of supplements,omega3 fatty acids, minerals, proteins, antioxidants, necessary chemicals, inositol, herbs, trimethyl glycerine,selenium,etc.. at cheaper rate ## Hi Raju, I would like to be of assistance, but I'm not quite sure I understand your question clearly. Are you simply looking for a specific multivitamin (with all those ingredients) at a reasonable price? Judging from personal experience with supplements, I don't think you will be able to find a pill that contains all of those ingredients; but possibly a packet containing at least 3 or more different pills. Some good brand names I know of that contain a good majority of what you mentioned include: Visalus Vipak, Universal Nutrition's Animal Pak, and Beverly Inter...

Can I take 500mg vitamin B12 tablets for a month straight? On one tablet a day, I had a low level of vitamin B12 due to poor absorption. My current level of B12 is around 350 but I still experience numbness in my hands when I sleep on my sides. So I cant sleep on my side. I also tend to forget things sometimes. ## What has your doctor advised? 350 is considered to be in the normal range, which goes from 200 to 900. So, you should consult your doctor, because it really depends on how poor your absorption is, a supplement may be necessary to keep your level in the normal range. However, you do have to be careful, because getting your level to high can also be dangerous. ## Hi Verwon, Thanks for the reply. I should probably take a test before taking vitamin b12 pills. bought B12 at GMC it does not have the lot number or expiration date to know if this bottle is still good or not. ## Hi Isabel, If you recently bought your B12 from 'GNC' without a lot number or expiration date, I would encourage you to go back and check their other bottles to see if they list anything as well. In the event that none of them do, perhaps it would also be a good idea to contact the manufacturer who makes this product directly, by looking up their name online and retrieving the company's contact info that way. If this turns into a dead end, maybe you can get GNC to refund your money for a product that has no expiration details that allow customers to evaluate its long term safety/efficacy. I know stores like Vitamin Shoppe allow customers to make a return/excha...

Can I still administer a Vitamin B12 inj. which expired in July of 2014? ## Hello, Jeanne! How are you? Liquid formulations tend to degrade faster than others and they can also go bad, so there is a risk that using it after the expiration could be harmful. It would be best to see your doctor for a new supply, if it is still required. The only known side effects, listed by the FDA are administration site irritation and soreness. Is there anything else I can help with?

pharex vitamin b1b6b12 is safety to take this kind of medicine? ## This pill contains Vitamin B1, B6, and B12; it is used as a dietary supplement. Yes, this B vitamin complex is safe to take; but may or may not be 'necessary' to take if you are not deficient in these vitamins. It would probably be wise to get blood work done before taking multivitamins, so you know which ones you might be low on and which ones you have plenty of. More is not always better when it comes to supplements. Hope this helps!

I have a Vitamin B12 deficiency. This was found in 2002. I completed my course of treatment for 6 months. After that I took 2x more. recently I checked again and found it to be a very low level of Vitamin B12. Previously as per my doctor's prescription I used Vitamin B12 With Vitneuron (Glaxo), this combination of B1, B6 & B12 and my levels were recovered very soon after. Now I am searching for this medicine but it's not available in the market and out of stock. I contacted Glaxo customer support and was told that this product stopped being produced over 2 years ago; no more production. Now I am looking for other alternatives and advice. Thanks. Best regards. ## There are many B12 supplements available, both via prescription and over the counter, your doctor should be able t...

pls tell me taking vitamin B12 is benificial or harmful to heart dieases ## Vitamin B12 is an important nutrient that our bodies need. Studies have shown that it can help with heart disease, by lowering Homocysteine levels in the blood. Elevated levels have been directly associated with worsening heart disease. However, you can't go overboard with it and use more than what is directed, because the can be dangerous and cause other health problems. The studies mainly showed it to be of the most benefit, when coupled with Folic Acid, so that is another supplement you may want to consider adding. Are there any other questions?
