I have a red oblong capsule with M 1772, I believe it's for pain relief. ## Pill Image This is Propoxyphene 100mgs and Acetaminophen 650mgs, a generic for Darvocet, manufactured by Mallinckrodt pharmaceuticals. It is a mild, narcotic pain reliever. If this is not prescribed for you and you are not under a doctors care, you should not take this. All narcotics, even a mild one like this have side-effects and can be addictive. On top of that, there is now a campaign going to have these removed from the US market, because Propoxyphene is a cardio-toxic agent, there have been many accidental deaths from people taking this who have experience bad reactions.

Sold in the Philippines for weight gain. The syrup and tablets contain pizotifen and vitamins B1,2,3, and 6. Small capsule is orange and yellow and comes in a 2X5 10 capsule foil pack. Pharmacy has changed my RX from a capsule to tablet (with approval from Dr.) Dosage is the same 240 and both are XR. Pharmacy says they can't get capsules any more, only tablets. Since the change-over (about 2 -3 months ago) my blood pressure has been inching back up and now soldily back in the "high blood pressure" readings. Doctor has temporarily increased my dosage of lisinopril (I take both) but wants my primary care to do a complete work up. Has anyone else had problems with tablet form not working? I have been prescribed teva 3109, which is Amoxicillin 500mg (for a tooth infection) & I can't swallow the pills. I wanted to know if it was possible to just take the powder that is inside the capsule? Will it still fight off the infection? ## It will still fight the infection. I can't swallow pills either.
