If a person is having LDL level of 112, does he need to take aztor to reduce the chlostrol ## For healthy individuals the desirable LDL level is less than 100, for those considered at high risk of cardiac problems, the ideal level is considered 70 or less, so yes, the doctor will normally want anyone with a level over 100 to use a medication and dietary options to lower it. Astor contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, these medications are very commonly used to help lower cholesterol. I am on Azor for constant anxiety en Cilift for depression. It seems not to help me anymore. Is my system after 10 years so used to it that I should rather change my medication. ## Hello, Johann! How are you? Yes, it is possible that could be causing your problem. You may need a dosage adjustment or to switch to new medications. However, please be careful not to just stop these medications cold turkey, as the FDA warns that doing so with the Azor creates the risk of seizures, as well as rebound depression and anxiety. If you have to switch medications, follow your doctor's instructions carefully. Is there anything else I can help with?

After accusing my wife of taking prescription drugs without a prescription and then settling on a family friend who had recently been over, I found the AZ aspirin bottle the pill had come out of. It is probably aspirin. ## Hi steppenwolf, The closest match I've been able to find is a round yellow pill with the imprint A 266, it has been identified as Dipyridamole (50 mg). Manufacturer: Actavis National Drug Code (NDC): 52152-0266 Dipyridamole keeps blood clots from forming after some types of heart surgery. It is also used to prevent strokes and heart attacks. The modified release Dipyridamole is used in conjunction with aspirin (under the trade names ...

Anyone know what this pill is along with some sources to back it? ## Hi Jeff, From what I could gather, this is reportedly a 100 mg Atenolol Tablet, marketed under the brand name Tenormin. However, I'm finding that sources to back this up are scarce to come by, and I'm not sure why that might be unless it's a foreign or counterfeit medication. A comment in another thread had also mentioned what the diameter/size of the pill is supposed to be: Discuss/cyclobenzaprine-191970.htm Maybe that clue can at least be verified if you have a way to measure it. I hope this helps!

My doc told me to take aztor 10, but in the gulf u don't get these meds. Please reply. ## Hello, Victor! How are you? Can Aztor 20 lower you platelet count? My platelet count was 281 last week and the only change in my medication was that I have been advised to switch from rose day 10 mg to Aztor 20. My platelet count in a span of 8 to 10 days has dropped to 128. Do Aztor tablets contain Atorvastatin? ## Yes, that is the active ingredient in them, and yes, it has been known to cause this as a side effect, according to NIH reports. My 2 yr old has had a fever, cold and cough for the past 2 days. He was prescribed azithral 100mg syrup 5no, once a day with Crocin DS for his fever and asthalin expectorant for the cough. I was prescribed Aziflex FS Kit. It contains one Fluconazole 150 mg, one Azithromycin 1000 mg, and two Secnidazole 1000 mg. I'd like more details about these medicines please. Also, what is the sequence that I should be taking my doses in? I misplaced the instruction sheet. ## There is no special order they need to be taken in, just make sure to take them all. The NIH warns that they may cause nausea, as a side effect, so you may want to make sure you take them with food, or a small snack.
