Im looking for the name of a pill that is white oval pill about a cm long marked Ax 5306 ## Found a match it's Acyclovir 400 mg, which is primarily used for the treatment of herpes simplex virus infections, as well as in the treatment of herpes zoster (shingles). White oblong pill with Ax 5306 on one side and nothing on the other ## Hello, Jeff! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Apotex Corp. and they list it as containing 400mgs of Acyclovir. The FDA classifies this medication as an antiviral. It is used to help treat or prevent herpes outbreaks and is the only one approved for oral herpes/cold sores/fever blisters. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and bloating. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a lady friend and i was over her house and seen this pill bottle...i was wondering does she have herpes? is that why she has these pills?
