However, you may still be able to safely cut the pill in half if the drug itself is not in extended-release form. I had huge rashes on body from 20 days itchy and painful. No tablets worked. Finally augmenting 625 mg did. My haemoglobin is down and ESR is wat high to 40. Doc told my blood is infected and m being allergic to something I eat. Augmenting worked for 3 days .. course is for 5 days but I have got back the rashes on my body.
