Colestrol ## ## I have severy problems to sleep. Can Aspavor play a role in it? How can I solve the problem? ## I've been on the following drugs:warfarin,Tritace, Plavix,Norvasc,Lipitor,Ecotrin. 2 Bypasses and 2 stents have blocked completely but collateral circulation has been established. New cardiologist has now reduced drugs to Lipitor, Norvasc and Ecotrin. Does this make sense if the full basket eliminated bypass and stent failure? ## I have been taking 10 mg Aspavor every night for the past 4 months. I broke my femur 6 months ago and was on Crestor which I was subsequently taken off. I am experiencing severe back pain - could this be related to the Aspavor?

56 YO Male, taking this after a stint. I also take Atenolol, 100mg daily, Losartan 100mg 2x daily and Clopidogrel 75mg daily. Since the stint and the new meds, I am constantly dizzy. I do not believe the stint has anything to do with it, since it saved my life. I have read blogs where people feel uncomfortable with this "metal thing" in their body. I have no such feelings, I am eternally grateful for the "metal thing" and the miracle surgeons that put it there and saved my life. But back to my dizziness. If your doctor has instructed you to lower the dose, it would be best to do as they've directed. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My husband was similar, so he weaned himself off the Statin (I forget which one it was) couldn't get any logical answer from the doc as to why not. Do atorvastatin calcium tablets cause breathlessness and heavy breathing if the tablet is taken after a meal, particularly when one is walking after having eaten and taken the tablet? If so, what does it mean? ## From my records I did not find anything stating that atorvastatin causes breathlessness or heavy breathing. it is to reduce chlororstrol and triglysterides ## I am advised to take atocor 10 for breathlessness while walking. Its use has benefitted me to a great degree. I am 78 year old male from India. I am diabetic but under control and mild bp under control. My cholestrol level is 113, Tryglycerides 166, HDL 46, LDL 32 and VLDL 35 as on 16th dec 2020. Previously as on 15/9/2019 cholestrol is 111, tryglycerides 134, HDL 43, LDL 32 and VLDL 35. I have been taking Atorvostatin 10 mg since many years. But when this tryglycerides level is 166 from 134 recently , I feel i should raise the dosage and would like to take 20 mg atorvostatin. Since I am diabetic, i think i am not supposed to stop atorvostatin. Can i increase the dosage from 10 mg to 20 mg? Is there any harm in doing so? Hello. I have been taking lipvas (atorvastatin) tablets for the past nine months and my daily dose is 10mg. I got checked for my cholesterol levels and all parameters are within the safe zone. I am 41 years old. My triglycerides 225 (188), Cholestrol174 (159) LDL-114(110) and HDL-20(20R). Note with in the brackets are test dated 10-08-2010. l started taking atorvastatincalcium ( 10mg) almost 2 months ago when my doctor discovered that l have a plaque in my neck muscle and l was told it will reduce or dissolve this pllaque but ever since l started talking it ,l have experience alot of issues like my leg muscles just cotracting with me doing anything and this night the muscle in my forehead won't stop contracting and tbis gives me a sort of worry. ## Those can be typical side effects of this medication, additionally, some modern research has shown that taking them to lower cholesterol is not necessary, though as with most other findings, more studies need to be done. I take losartan/hctz 50-12.5 mg, atorvastatin 10 mg and low dose aspirin in the evening before bed. Is it ok to take these together? ## It is okay to do so, as long as your doctor has told you take them all.
