My mother aged 66 is having LDL cholestrol 170, serum cholestrol 234 & HDL, Triglycerides 66 & VLDL 13. Doctor is advised to take Atorva 10 mg for 3 months (alernate days). Is there any side effects. Shall she discontinue after three months. Kindly advise more details. ## This contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, it is most commonly used to help lower cholesterol. My doctor prescribed Atorva 40 mg tablets first for 1 month when my cholesterol was 388 MG/DL. When cholestorol, hdl & ldl levels became normal, he prescribed for 3 moths; again now after lipid test which is normal he has prescribed the same dose for 3 more months. Is it needed? Do atorvastatin calcium tablets cause breathlessness and heavy breathing if the tablet is taken after a meal, particularly when one is walking after having eaten and taken the tablet? Colestrol ## ## I have severy problems to sleep. Can Aspavor play a role in it? How can I solve the problem? ## I've been on the following drugs:warfarin,Tritace, Plavix,Norvasc,Lipitor,Ecotrin. 2 Bypasses and 2 stents have blocked completely but collateral circulation has been established. Do I Run Any Risk In Taking Seloken Xl 25 Daily with Atorva 10 mg & Deplatt A 75
I had under gone Angioplasty in 2010 January. One Medicate Stent & One Balloon was inserted. Then on I am under regular medication of (1) Deplatt A 75, Seloken XL 25, Atorva 10 every day. I am 64 now. I find no discomfort and maintaining my daily work from morning till late evening. what is color of tablet ## All of the Aspavor (atorvastatin) tablets I've seen from 10mg all the way to 40mg dosages are either white or yellow in color; mostly white though. it is to reduce chlororstrol and triglysterides ## I am advised to take atocor 10 for breathlessness while walking. Its use has benefitted me to a great degree. Unfortunately my doctor has left the hospital and I do not know how long to take it. What side effects it can cause ?
