Wondering if anyone knows of a quick in and out pain clinic in downtown Atlanta ## There are none to be found anywhere in the U.S. anymore. Such places were pill mills, for the most part, and have been shut dow by the government. Why isn't your current doctor helping you?

Need any information on what Doctors prescribe methadone.. ## Hello, Tony! How are you? If you require it for addiction/maintenance, then your only option is a clinic. A private practice doctor isn't allowed to prescribe it for that. However, if you require it for pain, then any doctor can prescribe, but most will be reluctant to do so, due to it's highly addictive tendencies. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can anyone suggest a doctor in that area?

I really need help.Would be willing to travel to Atlanta.Anyone know anywhere I can go? Desperate, my quality of life is going to hell.

I need a pain doctor or pain clinic who doesn't require a referral, takes Medicare and Medicaid, who will prescribe my Xanax 2mg, Dilaudid 8mg, Roxy 30, Soma 350mg. I have my paperwork from the hospital state to take these meds. I need someone in Atlanta Ga, or Roswell Ga, Lwrncvil Ga. ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. As to your medications, it is doubtful that you will find one doctor that will prescribe them all. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you need to see a specialist, so for that list, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist, as well as a psychiatrist for the Xanax. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dr...

I was told Friday by my Pain Management Doctor at my monthly appointment that the DEA was implementing a new law dictating to doctors on how much pain medication they could prescribe per patient per day. It could be equal to no more than 120 mg of Morphine per day per patient and they had to comply within 3 months for all of their patients. I am trying to find out as much information on this as possible. I don't know if my Pain Management Doctor is stating fact or if he is just running scared and if he is stating fact, I don't know if this is federal or state (Alabama) mandated. I spoke directly with the Southeastern division of the DEA in Atlanta this morning and they are not aware of any law of this nature coming into effect and I also contacted another pain clinic locally tha...

Need help in locating a new clinic where I can find assistance in renewing my 30mg oxicodon in the Atlanta area. Cannot reach my local clinic. ## Listed below are a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Alternatively, you can have your primary care doctor refer you to a new pain management doctor or clinic. Please post back if these links were able to work out for you. Hope this helps!
