I wonder if anyone can help or advise me , I am in my late thirtys and I have been on Vyvanse for three weeks now. Can it cause asthma like symptoms? As my relative takes high blood pressure and gemer1 and has suddenly developed very serious breathing problems and sometimes she's ok and it starts suddenly then may stop without medications or may need IV's for laxis, hydrocortisone, aminophiline together. ## What have the doctors said is causing it? If its genuine asthma, then that would be due to allergies and if she were allergic to the medication, it would happen every time she took it and most likely worsen with time. Has she been tested for allergies?

I can tell you, however, that the side effect profiles are not studied for herbal supplements, since they are not prescription medications and aren't actually proven to do anything.

I hear a lot of people complaining about side effects like nausea, headaches, dizziness, bad taste, vivid dreams and so on. Here is my take on it, yes there is going to be side effects on any drug, what you need to evaluate is, is it worth it? I say yes, I would rather have a headache any day than a hole in my throat speaking out of a voice synthesizer. I would rather be dizzy, than in the hospital getting a triple bipass surgery. I would rather have a bad taste in my mouth then be struggling to breath everyday. And I would rather have vivid dreams than to be dead and not to dream at all. My dentist gave me either halcion or haldol to pull all my teeth out, they only gave me two of the tiniest pills 1 hour before I went in the dentist chair. I was not completely normal again for over 24 hrs. My question is, which medication do you believe it was that they gave me? The haldol or halcion? My son has been taking valperine for the last 3 yrs and since february he has also been taking levipil 250 in the morning and 500 in the night. He is below weight. He cant read and write properly. I have been on this medication for over a year and I am getting sores all over my face, arms, legs, private areas and chest. They are red and looks like they have blood in them.
