WHAT IS THIS PILL FOR ## I just bought some Astefin 100 in Costa Rica for pain. Does anyone know if it really works ## I was on vacation in San Jose, CR, and awakend with a bad hip pain, making it difficult to walk. I walked into a drug store and told the young lady what my problem was. She came back with Astefin 100 and Corten, I took them 2 days and the pain has never returned. ## Astefin contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Is there such a drug? ## I was not able to locate any drugs called Astefin, I did find a drug called Astelin, which is used for symptoms such as sneezing and itchy, runny nose. Maybe it is another brand of Astelin I spent some time in Costa Rica a few years back, and was given ASTEFIN for a cold/flu.
