Okay so I got a staff assess drained about a week ago and started on sulfamethoxazole dm or ds tablet and I developed a fever about 2 days ago and I've been itchy all over for 2 days now I have also been experiencing the feeling of things crawling on me and extreme anxiety attacks and weird cold and hot flashes. Are these side effects or am I allergic to the medication? Should I go see my doctor even though I saw him about 2 or 3 days ago before the itching started. I'm off the meds now just to let you know I just need to know what to do. ## Hello, Hazel! How are you? Yes, it seems that you're allergic. Did you finish your course of treatment? If so, then it will just take a week or two for the symptoms to go away. However, if not, then you need to see your doctor for a diff...

The lipophilicity and solubility profile of nimesulide was investigated over a broad pH range. Lipophilicity was assessed by direct partitioning experiments in the octanol-water system using the shake flask method, as well as by reversed-phase HPLC using methanol as organic modifier with or without addition of n-octanol. In the latter case the extrapolated retention factors logk(w) were considered as lipophilicity indices. The presence of n-octanol in the mobile phase proved to be a crucial factor for the establishment of a logk(w)/pH profile very similar to the logD/pH profile of nimesulide. Solubility was determined by the shake flask method using saturated buffer solutions. Both lipophilicity and solubility--pH profiles of nimesulide showed deviations from the theoretically expected ...

So, I had about eight days clean, after going to a treatment center and going thru opiate withdrawls. When I got home I called about a vivitrol assessment and they told me to come in on the 24th. So I went and got a 30 mg Roxy. Well, today they called and told me to come in for labs tomorrow. Is the oxycodone in my system going automatically knock out my chances of getting the injection? ## Did you ever get an answer on this?!? I'm curious about the same thing. Getting my shot tomorrow!!!!

Need to find a pain doc that write roxycoden, I've tried alot of other pain meds and.roxys are the only way i.get pain releaf ## If you truly have a diagnosed condition, that can be assessed by CT scans, MRI's, lab findings, or other devices such as ultrasound, then you probably do need a Schedule Two narcotic. In receiving a Schedule two, the mindset now is that you will probably be on them for an extended period of your life. In the past, in order to make patients comfortable, doctors were prescribing medications like OxyContin, Roxicodone, Duragesic Patches, etc. for pain alleviation. If you are having sporadic or afflictions that cannot be measured scientifically, then the chances of getting a CII are limited. Even hydrocodone CIII, is coming under scrutiny. Now, trust me, i...

Hi, I have had pain in my L/ R shoulders and then ended up under my feet ie, swelling. I had an operation for Carpal Tunnel in both my wrists in early 2005 it, took them from 2003 to figure that out and I believe due to the waiting for ACC to do all their testing and getting specialists to assess me. In that time I had to use my upper arms/ upper body to, compensate for my wrists and over that time I have ended up with pain in my both my shoulders it, feels llike they're broken. I have been taking Codiene Phos, paracetemol, since 2003 right up until 2 months ago due to it not working at all. Since then I have been taking like 26 pills per day and it wasn't working at all, now today my doctor is trialing me on Prednisone because of the swelling in my shoulders and under my feet, ...

My dog has an ear infection and I have some bactrim ds that I couldn't take. I was wondering if he could take this medicine and what dosage would I give him? He weighs 23-25 lbs. ## Hi Kat, When it comes to potent antibiotics such as Bactrim, I feel it is vital to contact an experienced veterinarian who can assess the dog's condition in person first and then make an appropriate medical decision based off their evaluation. Just to add, Bactrim is in fact prescribed to dogs and cats alike for various types of infections. My only concern is that Bactrim tends to cause a lot of side effects in humans, so I can only hope that your dog has a positive response to it. If you have a moment, please post back on how things are going with treatment. ## How much bactrim should I give my 60lb...

I have had 3 Reclast infusions, Jan 2011, Feb 2012, Mar 2013. Also had chemotherapy in 2006 for a cancer diagnosis with no further evidence of disease and no further treatment. I have a 4-unit bridge that has been replaced 4 times in as many years. Dentist wants to replace with 2 implants and two crowns. Trying to assess my risks for ONJ. Finding mixed reviews, almost as many stating very low risk (less than 1%) to others indicating I should avoid any type of oral surgery at all costs. Seems like implants are my only option, though, if I want to keep my ability to eat properly, to say nothing of the cosmetic/visual issues. The bridge is very visible and loss of all 4 teeth is unacceptable. Any suggestions or evidence-based information on risks for going forward with implants? ## Hello, ...
