Iam confused Watson makes a generic Fiornial with codeine? 425 and makes 3546 please help me I have a product ASCOMP with codeine and it just does not knock out the pain! ## Based on my research, Watson pharmaceuticals does make a blue and yellow capsule, identified as Fiorinal with codeine (Aspirin 325 mg + Butalbital 50 mg + Caffeine 40 mg + Codeine Phosphate 30 mg). A yellow and blue capsule with CP in red on the blue portion and 279 in red on the yellow portion of the capsule. ## I believe this a generic brand med used headaches and migraines. Fiorinal with codeine. Also known as ascomp with codeine ## Ascomp is the worst! In my area that is all the pharmacies were dispensing and so I was forced to take that. I finally found a pharmacy that has Lannet Brand, Fiorinal and Codeine. It is generic but it is the best. It is a yellow and blue capsule.

Watson Fiorinal with codeine works better for me that the product subsuted by the pharmasist :Ascomp with codeine.Please tell me why.Iam sure they are not equal. ## There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another and when going from the name brand to a generic. It is a horrible medicine and does not relieve my headaches at all. I wonder if it is legal for the pharmacies to be filling my prescription for "Fiorinal with Codeinne " with Ascomp with Codeine.
