I'm wondering what this pain is? I normally feel some severe cramp all over my whole leg from mid calf to my upper thigh. It radiates and it feels like it's in my bone or bone marrow, meaning deep inside. This pain makes me want to fall if I'm standing upright. It lasts for about one hour to 1.5 hours. When it's occuring it feels like I can have a baby and I'm normally suffering from arthritis pain too. What is this pain? ## Unfortunately this site is not familiar with your full medical history so we cannot diagnose, treat or prescribe anything. Which means I can't tell you what it was or what was causing it just from the information you posted. You need to see a doctor for a proper assessment of the problem. Have you made an appointment, yet?

is this type of steroid medication good for arthritis? ## Hello, Gray! How are you? It really depends on the person and the type/severity of the arthritis. Steroids can sometimes help with the inflammation that arthritis can cause, which in turn, can reduce the pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne and weight changes. Has this medication been prescribed for you?

I am 32 yrs, I had knee pain and ortho doctor suggested me Glucosamine + Diacerein Tablets for a month - Am I a patient of arthritis ? I am too young, How long should I continue the medicine ? ## Have you asked your doctor about what they think is causing the problem and how long you should take the medication? They are the only ones that will really be able to advise you on this. Athritis, however, is possible at any age, there are people even younger than you that suffer from it. The Glucosamine is a substance that naturally occurs in your joints, so supplementing it may help. The Diacerein is often given to treat arthritis, but it isn't used in the U.S., so the information we have on it is very limited. ## Thanks a lot, I am improving though not recovered fully. I do have access ...

I have been given a prescription of Nexium for a gerd/reflux issue. However, since I've been taking it, it seems like my arthritis ( mainly in my hands ) has been hurting more and getting worse. Is arthritis inflammation or joint soreness a side effect of Nexium? ## Have you been taking any other vitamins or medications with the Nexium? Although joint pain is not specifically listed as a side-effect (headaches are possible though), I am wondering if there are any drug interactions going on here. You can also read more about this medication at: Do you have any other questions or information to add? Please post back if you do... ## Re: Nexium side effects reply from Roy. I am not on any other medication, however, I do take Vitamin C ( 2000 mg ), and Vitamin D ( 1000 IU ) daily. ## I a...

I've heard about BMP's for arthristis. Does anyone know what they are and if we can get them? I have extremely bad arthritis in my knees keeping me from sleeping because of the severe pain. I don't really want another knee replacement if possible. Thank you. ## BMP stands for Bone Morphogenetic Proteins. To sum that article up for laymen, they have shown some efficacy in experiments. More information here. It's not a generally accepted, and freely available treatment, yet. How long ago was your knee replacement? Are you on any medications?

I have been to several doctors about my knees,I can barely walk at times and its so hard for me to stand at work..ive inquired about the cortisone shots but no one wants to help, all they give is pills that don't help much at all!! Ugh I just want the pain to stop ## Hello, Tonya! How are you? Have you tried seeing a pain management specialist, or a rheumatologist? One of these specialists would likely be your best bet for getting the help you need. Many pain management specialists actually prefer someone try the other options first, before resorting to other options. What is your general location? This information might enable someone to recommend a good doctor in your area. Do you have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone?

Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen,[a] is a medication used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain.[11][12] At a standard dose, paracetamol only slightly decreases body temperature;[11][13][14] it is inferior to ibuprofen in that respect,[15] and the benefits of its use for fever are unclear.[11][16][17] Paracetamol may reliev...

Etodolac is used to relieve the pain, tenderness, inflammation (swelling), and stiffness caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. started taken meloxicam 15mg a week tomorrow, for psoratic arthritis it has not reduced the pain, do I need to take it longer before it kicks in. also i have cramp in my hands and pins & needels ## Hello, Mary! How are you? The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. That said, it should have started to help right away, similar to Tylenol or Advil. If not, it's most likely not the right medication to help you and you'll need to see your doctor to try something else. Is there anything else I can help with?

hi, my niece used to suffer from arthritis like pains esp. in the morning and her fingers were like frozen and so were her shoulders. she was advised by a doc to take neurobion 5000 once a day for month and claims she is now ok and no more pain. i said im having the same pains as i think i have arthritis. the question is, are there other claims that this med could treat arthritis? thanks. ## I'm having deep pain in my knee and hand. My fingers are also frozen with stiffness. Should i use neurobion? ## Neurobion is a vitamin B complex, the nutrients it contains are vital to your body, and they are known to help with nerve help and function. Though the NIH does warn that it may cause nausea, in some people that take it, due to its potency. Guddi, are you on any other medications?

Artridol has been a lifesaver for me - I have Lyme disease and the joint and muscle pain is so bad that sometimes I had to remain in bed. I have been taking Artridol for 3 years now, one every 2-3 days, with NO sideaffects, and I have total bloodwork done yearly, and check my blood pressure regularly. I take it at night before bed, and by morning I am like I was in my 20s (I am in my70s now) with lots of energy and NO PAIN! This is worth its weight in gold as far as I am concerned, and both doctors here in Mexico that I have consulted say you can take up to 2 a day, but I only take them every 2 - 3 days as I said. We are in Mexico for the winter and I take enough up north for the summer, along with his prescription. It is well worth a trip to Mexico and see a doctor to get relief from a...

I share this experience in the hope of helping others who are suffering similar problems as a result of either Covid vaccines or the virus itself. Not long after my third Covid shot I started getting pins and needles in my fingers and hands. I blamed poor circulation at first but the problem quickly grew to severe pain in my hands and fingers, and trigger finger. The pain got so bad I consulted my GP who referred me to a specialist, who prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs. This then caused heart palpitations (I have a history of cardiac issues) so I stopped the medication immediately and survived on Panadol and, on bad days, Tramal 150. The problem got so bad that I couldn't open the screw top on a bottle of wine, and even the simple task of cleaning my teeth was painful. A second do...

This medication is listed as containing Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. However, it is always possible to discover that you are also allergic to other medications, so if you start to show signs of an allergic reaction, please seek medication attention. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you Verwon. I have not tried Rapidus 50 till now because i am afraid of side effects. For joint pain. It was given to me by a...

Friend told me of a pill she heard of for arthritis with the #14 in the name, any ideas, thanks ## No, with a number in the name like that, I would have to assume that it is something that is available over the counter and I have not heard of anything. Just having the number 14 in the name isn't really a lot to go on. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## WHAT ARE THE BEST ANTI-INFLAMMATORIES FOR ARTHRITIS WITH LESS SIDE EFFECTS? ## Dear Sir/Mam, I am a 55 year old female who has had hypertension for a while now and has been on Vinco/D5 for sometime now. I've been having pains in my knee joint for some years now, which is now serious, cos I have only used Analgesics alone for the pain. Please, could you recommend a medication that wouldn't interact with the blood pressure drug...

I would like to order ortho7 for arthritis need phone number or website. ## Hi Jean, May I ask where you first heard about "Ortho 7" for arthritis? From what I can tell, it honestly doesn't appear to be a real supplement. And if it is, the lack of available details on the product is quite concerning for anyone wishing to find more information pertaining to it. Is it possible that you may have meant to say "Arthro 7" instread? The company who makes Arthro 7 describes it as a clinically proven joint supplement, so I'm assuming it may be used for arthritis. Apparently it's available OTC at Walgreens (in-store or on their website) under the following name: "U.S. Doctors' Clinical Arthro-7 Healthy Joint Support" for a price of $35. The active ingredien...

The other ingredients are listed as: Fish oils, while willow bark, curcumin, licorice, boswellia, cat's claw and devil's claw. In addition, since it contains licorice, which can raise your blood pressure, it should not be used by those suffering from hypertension. Are there any other questi...
