Was addicted to opiates for years, took suboxones, a lil @ a time, now on 10mg of methadone, are they the same? ## Hello, Lucky1! How are you? No, they are not the same. Methadone is exactly that, it contains no other active ingredients. Suboxone, however, contains Buprenorphine coupled with Naloxone to prevent the abuse of other opiates, while someone is under treatment with it. The FDA classifies both as narcotic opiates that are most commonly used to treat drug addiction. They carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have two scripts of hydrocodone. One is stamped m365 and the other is n356. The n356 makes me sleepy & the m365 makes me hyper. Both bottles say they are the same thing, but how can I react so differently to them? ## Both M365 and N356 5, contain a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone at a dosage of 5/325mg. However, there are still some unique differences... The N356 5 pill lists Hydrocodone bitartrate while M365 simply lists Hydrocodone (by itself). Bitartrate is an acid tartrate, that from what I could gather seems to play some sort of role in the absorption process. Each pill also contains a different set of binders and fillers. So it may be that some of these supposedly inert chemicals are affecting the way your body would typically respond to the medication as a whole....

I have taken both and let me say that there is nothing different in the white Watson's vs the yellow ones except the yellow dye. Its all in your head if u think that they wont work as well they wont and they are FDA regulated so believe me the people calling there pharmacy saying they dont work are looking like drug users. ## I had both yellow and white 853's, asked the wife not to tell me which one......after two days outside of a lucky guess which was which.....never could tell difference. Keep in mind hydro looses effectiveness quickly - old ones don't work that well.... ## Do they pay you people to come on these boards? Really? There is not one single person who is to dumb to notice that these pills are garbage. Stop insulting us! ## Can anyone tell me if I can exchange ...

need to know are mylan white round pill same as xanax ## Mylan is a pharmaceutical manufacturer and they make many different generic medications that are white and round. Thus, I have to ask what are the markings on the tablet in question? This information is what would enable me to answer your question. ## Do you people even type the pill info into google anymore... ## Mylan A4 white pill made in USA contains alprazolam but certainly nowhere near 2mg as claimed on packaging. So the answer is no, they are NOT the same as Xanax, which contain precisely 2mg per bar shaped tablet with three score markings and imprint 'U94' or 'XANAX' obverse with large '2' reverse (latter only in the USA, former worldwide). Mylan alprazolam made in Europe and South Africa are light ...

I have 2 different types of pills that are supposed to be exactly the same. One is round, white and has a line across the back of it, and on other side it has in big numbers 54 and under that is the number 543. The other pill is flat, smooth, white, plain on one side and on the other side it has the number 4839 with a line under that and a kind of cursive V. I received the latter one a while ago when I had dental work done and it helped me so much. My general practitioner prescribed the first one for major pelvic and lower back pain and they are supposed to be the exact same thing and I assure you they are not. I cannot pinpoint the difference. Is it a different manufacturer or just one little ingredient difference? I must find out the answer to this, because I am in massive pain and sc...

I Have Lisinopril & Would Like To Know What It Treats ,What Time Of Day To Take It ... ## Hi Richie, According to NIH, Lisinopril is classified as an ACE inhibitor, indicated for use in treating high blood pressure as well as heart failure. Concerning what time of day it should be taken is entirely up to you and your doctor. To my knowledge there are no specific details in the manufacturer's product pamphlet that suggest taking it at a given time of day. Furthermore, information I have read on dosing only depicts it as being taken once daily. With that said, I'd encourage you to contact your prescribing doctor for administrative protocols that are right for you. And to answer the question in your thread title, "Lupin" is simply the name of the drug manufacturer (Lupi...

My dr switched my oxycodone 30mg to dilaudid 8 mg. I am wondering how they compare to one another? ## Based on my research, Dilaudid is much stronger then Oxycodone, but it doesn't last very long in it's immediate release formula. Oxycodone has an extended release formula (Oxycontin); which may be better suited for some people when used chronically for long term pain relief. 8mg of Dilaudid is "roughly equivalent" to 20mg of Oxycodone. This information is based on my own findings and is not relative to each individual's body chemistry or cross tolerance, as every drug can effect each person differently. I hope this info helps! ## what mg of dilaudid is equal to 15 mg of oxycodone? ## 16MG of dilaudid(2 8mg tabs) is equal to 30mg oxycodone. Swallowing dilaudid is way ...

I have a skin problem. I have a rash on my face and my back so my aunt told me to use a bactrim pill because it's good. Yesterday I went to the pharmacy to fill a prescription for them. Now I just noticed that they gave me purbac instead of bactrim. I just want to know if they can be used for the same treatment in ur body? ## Yes, they both contain the same active ingredients, Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim, which are antibiotics used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications? If they are from the same manufacturer, are the 4mg, 8mg and 12mg the same size.Basically what I am asking is are 8mg and 12mg typically the same size strip? ## 12 is larger. Do you know why the 8/2 would be two different color oranges? Does that mean anything (i.e. old, expired, generic, etc) ## Hello Billycat, Here are the dimensions of the strips according to the FDA website. 2 mg/0.5 mg 22.0 mm x 12.8 mm 4 mg/1 mg 22.0 mm x 25.6 mm 8 mg/2 mg 22.0 mm x 12.8 mm 12 mg/3 mg 22.0 mm x 19.2 mm Surprisingly the 4/1 strips are the largest. I hope this information helps.

hctz 25 / lisinopril 20 mg....how does it differ from hctz 25 / losartan 100 mg? ## One contains Lisinopril and the other contains Losartan. Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor and Losartan is an ARB, so while they both can help lower blood pressure, they work in different ways. The Lisinopril is a more potent medication, so it requires a lower dosage to work. Learn more: Are there any other questions? ## I am so concerned.
