I am taking the percocet 512 white tablets 5mg/325 for severe back pain due to degenerating disc(s). I have been told 1 pill every 8 hours, but find the pain so excruciating after about 5 hours that I cannot even stand... even to use the bathroom or shower. My MD cannot get me into a specialist until August, but I am having real stress here. I'm confused I just got a refill of generic percocet 5/325. Last month I was given a new type that just doesn't do enough for me. Had the RP stamped on smaller 5/325 pill. My previous prescriptions were large white pills with 512 on one side with a code on bottle of MCRK. My new prescription has the identical 512 pills but still has the newer code of MADV. It's considered a serious narcotic drug, and (from law enforcement standpoint) the implications of using it illegally is basically the same is if you were taking any other hard drug. As for the imprint 512, if the original post is talking about a White, Round, Scored tablet with the imprint 512, then that is a generic Percocet.
