Ardosons How To Take It

Hi, I was today prescribed Ardosons for acute pain and inflammatory process of the joint on my middle right finger. I made it clear to the physician that I have blood high pressure and that I was subject to a cateterism on 2006 due to ischemic peripheral vessels. He recommended 1 capsule for four days (with meals) only, however I found that this drug is not indicated for people with blood high pressure and persons with a cardiac history. Could you please advise if I should have these pills or not? I would deeply appreaciate your advice. Best regards. ## I'm not sure what the FDA or American equivalent is of Ardosons. It seems this is typically a South American prescribed medication. It's also known as Artridol. I found that Ardosons contains: Indomethacin (25mg): a nonsteroidal ...

The last time I bought this was in Mexico but I need more. Where can I buy this in the Coachella Valley? Do I need a prescription from a Doctor? This is all I need to know at this time. ## I need 1 box ardosons capsulas, for inflamacion rtrithis ## Ardosons reportedly contains the following set of active ingredients [Indomethacin + Betamethasone + Methocarbamol] all of which are prescription drugs here in the US. So you will need to visit your doctor in order to acquire it legally. In Mexico it's a different story, as the laws surrounding these drugs as well as other 'would-be' controlled substances are generously lenient, making them easily accessible to the masses. If you live in or near Mexico, surely that would make things convenient, but otherwise your best bet is setti...

This medication contains 25mgs of Indomethacin a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, 0.75mgs of Betamethasone a steroid and 215mgs of Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant. There is some slight risk of your also being allergic to the Indomethacin, since it is in the same class of medications, thus it would be best to check, before taking this. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, fluid retention and acne. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is this medicine used for and is it safe for a diabtic

I have COPD and was wondering if Ardosons will cause any adverse side effects to my breathing? I have 2 inhalers: Spriva (once daily) and Symbalta (twice daily). ## Ardosons contains Betamethasone, it is a steroid class medication that is used to treat allergic reactions, inflammation, and immune disorders. (An NDC link for more information: 66993-897.) The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including rash, nausea, headache, skin redness, and irritation. (In the U.S. it is most commonly used topically.) Symbalta is not the name of an inhaler? Can you please double check the name and post back? Thank you! And given you have issues breathing, it would be best not to take anything your doctor has not approved for you. ## In my first post I mistakenly mentioned that one of my in...

Can i take ardosons with atorvastatina together ## Hello, Rolando! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the Mannitol in Ardosons and the Atorvastatin, but it's always best to double check this information to be safe. Atorvastatin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches. Has your doctor prescribed both?

I'd like to know if Ardosons is known to cause headaches and a rise in blood pressure? ## Hello, Nonnie! Yes, this medication can cause those types of issues as side effects. I am having a reaction to the medication ardosons and trying to get more details about this drug. ## Hi stephanie, Sorry to hear about your reaction to that medication. Are you feeling any better now? Based on my research, the ingredients found in Ardosons are: Indomethacin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory; Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication; and Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant. Since each medication can effect you differently, I think you really have to look at each drug's individual profile to get a better idea of what side effects are really associated with the medication as a whole. It may also be a good idea to contact your doctor about any safer alternatives to Ardosons. You can learn more about these drugs on the pages for: Indomethacin Det...

Can this be prescribed in the US? Is there a comparable medication? I've used this and wondered if it is available in the US. I would rather get this here instead of having to cross the border. ## No, this medication contains a combination of Indomethacin, Methocarbamol, and Betamethasone, and such combinations are not approved here by the FDA, due to the possible risks of taking all of them together. They can be prescribed separately, though. The typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, acne, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

A Dr prescribed this to my husband in Mexico for a hip pain that he's been having, but he's been working for a year at a company that gives drug panels. He had a prescription given to him here which is hydrocodone. Will he have any issues with his employer? ## Hello, Mar! How are you? No, Ardosons doesn't contain anything he'd need to worry about. The FDA lists the active ingredients as including Indomethacin, Betamethasone and Methocarbamol, which in order are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, a steroid and a muscle relaxant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, weight gain, acne and drowsiness. I want to know because they say not to take ibuprofen with the covid-19 being here in the US. ## No, Ardosons is listed as containing Indomethacin, and Methocarbamol, but the Indomethacin is an NSAID, so it is in the same drug class as the Ibuprofen. Given the lack of information, I'd say its best to be cautious, though there shouldn't be a problem if you don't have the virus. Ardosons typical side effects may include nausea, stomach irriation, increased risk of bleeding, and sedation. Is there anything else I can help with? Remember to stay safe! ## I took one pill of Ardosons and I just read steroids may cause Cushing syndrome. Can I just quit taking it or should I keep taking it with gradual lowering doses?

CAN YOU DRINK ALCOHOL OR BEER WHILE TAKING ARDOSONS? I WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE I AM PLANNING TO TAKE IT. ## Where can I buy Ardosons or a similar medicine in the USA (Chicago area)? Thanks. ## Ardosons is listed as containing Betamethasone, Methocarbamol, and Indomethacin, this combination is not available in the U.S. LANDI, the Indomethacin is a nonsterdoial anti-inflammatory that has been known to cause stomach irritation, ulceration, and increased risk of bleeding at side effects according to FDA reports, so it it would be best not to indulge in alcoholic beverages, while taking it, since alcohol can worsen these side effects. Can my 12 year old boy take Ardosons capsules? He twisted his ankle and it's swelled. Pls let me know. ## Hi Rosa, Because the ingredients found in Ardosons are given by prescription-only here in the US, I can only recommend that you contact a doctor who can evaluate your son's condition in person and make an appropriate decision after reviewing his medical records and other pertinent details that may influence the course of treatment. I understand that in Mexico these types of medications have looser restrictions than the US, but to ensure your child's safety I think it would be worth your while to seek out a professional opinion. I've been taking Ibuprofen 800 mgs per day for hip and knee pain. However I was recommended Ardosons for same problem and the pain relief is dramatic in just 2 days, taking 1 dose only.
