My Dr went out of business. He had been prescribing me subutex for 2 years, and the Dr I transferred to him from had been prescribing me subutex for a year before that. I don't have insurance so my dad helps me with the cost & the subutex are the cheapest to get filled. I desperately need to find a new dr that will prescibe me subutex. Please help. I have been taking 8mg subutex for at least 3yrs now due to an allergic reaction to suboxone films and when I went to the doctor yesterday he said he could only prescribe subutex to pregnant women only. I've passed drug panels for over 3yrs & am not understanding why he took me off of subutex? ## It is a preferred directive from the DEA.
