These patches are lousy imo. Does anyone know which pharmacy regularly stocks other brands, not Apotex? I am on the 25 mcg patch. I live in Maine around only chain pharmacies. No private pharmacies around. I prefer Sandoz or Mylan as I have had both. Never the other brands but willing to try any other generic. Thanks for reading. ## Anyone can answer. You don't have to be from Maine. Thanks. ## I live in Canada, and I dont know if you can get TEVA Pharmaceuticals, but I use that Generic brand often and have no issues with it. Also, You could go brand name and get it from Jansen Pharmaceuticals. I have dealt with Jansen before about Fentanyl, they used to send me a box of 100 patch covers every 3 months to keep the patch from falling off. FREE. So I KNOW they will work with you. TRy ...

These pills are green with no imprint whatsoever. Blister packaging matches Apotexs' exactly. Anyone out there know anything about these? ## This sounds like a sure counterfeit if you ask me. The fact that it has no imprint and is actually trying to represent itself as something legitimate, is enough of a red flag in my opinion. Apotex's product list (linked below) shows that their green 80mg Oxycontin is supposed to say "APO" on one side and "OCD" over "80" on the back: apotex.com/ca/en/products/downloads/print/en_apl_print.pdf If you're still unsure about it I would probably encourage you to contact the manufacturer regarding this, have it analyzed by a lab, and/or find a way to safely dispose of it. ## A friend just filled a prescription for 40mg a...

My pharmacy just switched manufacturers of my prescription trazodone 50mg. It used to be made by apotex now it is pliva and I am finding that the new pills are having little to no effect and I am starting to suffer discontinuation syndrome. I talked to my pharmacist and doctor and neither one could tell me what was causing this. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who could shed some light on the subject. ## Yes, I can. Under Federal Law, by way of the Hatch Watchman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from their name brand counterparts by as much as plus or minus 20% in the active ingredient. Many people are not aware of this, including doctors, but the FDA considers this to be a very minor difference that does not affect the therapeutic dosing of medications. So,...

I have been taking Sotalol Teva for over 15 years and picked up a new prescription at Wal-Mart and received a different brand (Apotex). I called and the pharmacist said they were the same. My heart seems to disagree and is hopping around. Maybe like drinking coke for 15 yrs and then them throwing in a Pepsi. LOL. Is it my mind or what? My heart is giving me a "not in my head" reaction. ## Hello Jack, I hope that you are doing well. After doing some research I found that both Sotalol pills have the same active Ingredient SOTALOL HYDROCHLORIDE 120mg but where the two pills differ is the listed inactive ingredients. Teva reportedly contains these inactive ingredients: - Starch, Corn - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Povidone K30 - Fd&c Blue No. 2 - Indigotindisulfona...

Mhich one is better? My son use to take bupropion Hcl 75mg from Sandoz Pharm. but when we bought our house and moved we swapped Pharmacies. They carry bupropion Hcl 75mg from Apotex Corp. I've noticed that he isn't able to focus as much, he impulse reacts more, and he takes longer to go to sleep, along with other small differences. Can this be because the bupropion from Apotex Corp. doesn't work as well for him as from Sandoz Pharm. I'm almost sure if it to be honest. Should I transfer and fill it elsewhere? ## Most defintely transfer script. Ive been taking Sandoz bupropion and love it. Had it filled the other day, they gave me Mylan brand and it did nothing for me except make my bp go up. Imo Sandoz is holy grail for wellbutrin generic. Hope he gets to feeling better!!...

I've found out a great deal already by similar discussions on your site, however this Apotex pharmaceutical company seems to have a broad spectrum of prescriptions ranging in difference primarily by just a # and occasional change in color.. I have a large grey and white capsule labeled (APO) on the left/white side of capsule and followed on the left/grey side of capsule by the (#039) Please what is this treatment for and is there an easier way to find out about these more rare or new prescription medications because pill identifying websites couldn't recognize anything I'm talking about. Thank you for all you do. Keep up the good work!! ## There is an identifier on this site, where you can also find many of them listed. Other great sources are the FDA and NIH databases. As t...

I'm prescribed 0.25 mg of Alprazolam for MRI, CT as I have severe panic attacks. I've been getting Caraco brand. I didn't have any problems, and they worked for me. My pharmacy can no longer get that brand. I have multiple med. allergies, and chemically sensitive. After research on inactive ingredients I've narrowed it to brands: Greenstone, Apotex, Sandoz, Pfizer. Anybody have experience with these? Thanks. ## Hi. I have been on 1 mg Alprazolam for 28 years. Mine are shaped like a football and are blue, sometimes green and I have tried to come off them many times and have seizures, bad ones. Last time I didn't know anyone, I was like a baby for 3 days. Then the hospital crushed one and put it in my mouth and in 20 min I was fine. I'm really scared of it happenin...

Apotex green round pill only scored on one side sealed in blister pack. Is this oxycodone 80mg as it should be? ## Hello, Nick! How are you? Where were they obtained? All U.S. approved Oxycodone tablets have markings to enable their identification, as required by law. Thus, it's hard to say for sure what unmarked tablets might actually contain. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is anyone else familiar with these? I'll do some digging and post back, when I have information for you. ## a small greeny blue pill that has a horseshoe symbol on it ,and a line on the other side. Does anyone know when Sandoz or apotex will be realising generic oxycontin in Australia? Any feedback would be much appreciated ## Checkout chemist warehouse web inventory they have sandoz, it's says oxycodone not oxycontin tho... Are they the ssme? Same strengths tho. Anyone know? ## Sandoz has released a generic version of oxycontin in Australia and is now on pharmacy shelves check with your pharmacy as to what its called however if you have a script for oxycontin as with all drugs you should automatically be asked if you would prefer the generic version ## Oxycodone is an IR form where as oxycontin is a modafield or controlled realease form of oxycodone so obviously they are going to be different strengths. I have taken Tramadol, manufactured by Apotex, for the past nine months. Together, my neurostimlator and 200 mg. of Tramadol per day helped me to be virtually pain free! I renewed my Tramadol prescription last week and the new prescription says Tramadol, but this time the manufacturer is TEVA. This time, I continue to have pain and it is now the second week, and I am feeling intense pain. It is as if I was not taking any pain medication at all (my stimulator continues to work, but no one is ever promised that a neurostimulator will rid anyone of all pain. I have a friend who was switched to Tramadol from Apotex Manufacturing (the exact one I had for nine months) and is now taking Tramadol manufactured by TEVA.
