I am on APO-MEDROXY 10 mgs once a day for post menopausal abnormal bleeding. can this pill be cut in half and only 1/2 taken daily ? ## How long have you been taking it? Has it helped the bleeding, so far? You should probably consult your doctor, before making any changes to the dosage. There is a 5mg dosage that's used, but it really depends on your, your overall health, how severe the bleeding is and what's causing it and etc. Learn more about Medroxyprogesterone Details here. I also have to admit that I am not familiar with the APO tablet, so I am not sure if it is safe to cut in half. Is there any labeling on the bottle that warns against doing so?

found a med size round tab scored on one side with APO/1100 any idea what this might be? ## I think the imprint you are seeing might be APO T100, and Apotex lists it as containing 100mgs of Trazodone, which is an antidepressant that is also used to treat insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Are there any other questions?

When I refilled my perscription for Trazadone, I though the pills looked different. they are small white round pills with a split line and PLIVA 433 stamped on them. The old ones were oval I think. The old bottle says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet APO. The new one says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet PLI What is the difference? ## Only the manufacturer! PLI on the new pills stands for Pliva Pharmaceuticals and the other ones were made by Apotex. Most pharmacies will switch according to whomever provides the cheapest option when they have to reorder. What is the difference between a RX that has keto as a suffix compared to same RX with apo as a suffix? ## That's just the abbreviation for the manufacturer. APO stands for Apotex. This is commonly done in Canada, many medications are referred to by the manufacturer first, then the drug name, so you may see something listed as APO-Clonazepam or KETO-Clonazepam. im taking apo atennol 50mg beta blocker but stil thesame my bp 160/90,but i can't use otheres brand bcoz im getting palpitation,my cholesterol is 191 my LDL,im not taking treatment for cholesterol bcoz its to expensive ## What about trying something other than a beta blocker? There are other types of blood pressure medications on the market. I had similar type issues with the regular, straight beta blockers and the palpitations could just be due to your blood pressure being so high. You might want to check and see if Labetalol is available up there, it really helped me a lot when I had problems with the other medications and it stopped the palpitations for me, as well.
