im taking apo atennol 50mg beta blocker but stil thesame my bp 160/90,but i can't use otheres brand bcoz im getting palpitation,my cholesterol is 191 my LDL,im not taking treatment for cholesterol bcoz its to expensive ## What about trying something other than a beta blocker? There are other types of blood pressure medications on the market. I had similar type issues with the regular, straight beta blockers and the palpitations could just be due to your blood pressure being so high. You might want to check and see if Labetalol is available up there, it really helped me a lot when I had problems with the other medications and it stopped the palpitations for me, as well. I have just finished a 10 day dose of apo cephalex for an infection on my foot, which has still not fully healed, and I have suddenly developed hives all over my body, as of today. Could the hives be related to the medication, even though they occurred only after that many days of taking it? ## Yes, it could very well be what's caused your hives. Antibiotics do remain in your system for several days after you take them and there are many people that make it about 9 days in and suddenly develop an allergic reaction. When I discovered one that I was allergic to, I made it 9 and half days in, I had one dose left to go. You should consult your doctor, of course, to make sure that is what has caused them, but there's a very good chance it is. Is there anything else I can help with? L...

How long does ramipril stay in the body? ## How long does this stay in your body after you stop it? ## Hello, According to the FDA and NIH ramipril has a half life cycle of 3-16 hours and since it takes normally 4 to 6 half lifes for the drug to completely leave your body you are looking at between 12-96 hours, which a huge gap. Out of curiosity why do you need to know? Most people ask this question to determine when the earliest they can take a different medication is. If that's the reason for your question I would suggest waiting the maximum estimated half life of 96 hours before you take the conflicting medication just to be safe. Hope this answers your question.

I take 2mg Ativan daily, 90 mg of Cymbalta daily, 105mg Methadone daily and sometimes use Zantac for heartburn. Are there any drug interactions I should know about? Any knowledge u have about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ## Hello, Sunny! How are you? Yes, you actually shouldn't take the Sulfatrim with Methadone, it can cause a prolonged QTc interval of the heart, which may be fatal/ The FDA classifies Methadone as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Oval tablet. Just found in an old purse and wondering why I have it there? ## Does this oval tab have the marking APO on the opposite side of the pill? If so, it is likely Doxazosin mesylate 2 mg (NDC 60505-0094). NOTE: the full marking would be 094 on one side and APO on the other. Doxazosin Mesylate is an alpha blocker used to treat high blood pressure and benign prostatic hyperplasia. ## I also found a white oval caplet with 094 and no markings on the other side. What is it if there is no APO? ## Probably Kirkland brand Robaxacet - acetominophen and methocarbamol ## What is an oval white pill 094 on one side and nothing on the other side?
