Pale blue caplet, imprint "IAPAP 500" on one side. One site stated it was possibly Tylenol 500mg, but I tend to doubt this. ## The APAP is standard medical speak for Acetaminophen, but I can't find anything for what the I stands for. Where was it found?

Does this med a diuretic? ## Hi Bob, You didn't specify whether or not you were referring to Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen or Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. However, neither of these meds are classified as diuretics. Both are actually narcotic analgesic combinations, used to treat chronic pain. Were you experiencing an increased frequency of urination after taking these pills? I wonder if it could possibly be a side effect. I have tried all medications and found that this is the only medication that works for me. MY PCP is aware of the situation but as I DO NOT have health insurance cannot obtain care. FOR INFECTION ## Actually it is not for infection, it is a generic for Vicodin - which is a pain reliever comprised of Acetaminophen and various opioids which act as narcotics. ## To be specific, this contains Acetaminophen and the narcotic pain reliever Hydrocodone. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. ## I suffer with severe fibromyalgia..also had t3to t12 fusions, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, ulcerative colitis, GERD, etc. Nothing my Dr. Prescribed has worked for pain management. Mine is pink oval and the #'s 1772 w/ a M on it?
