I was on this drug for a long time for a mood disorder. I kept complaining of shortness of breath on small amounts of excersise. My eyes started to droop and I couln't breath. The Dr. diagnosed me with Myathesia Gravis. I was on oxygen and palnning to die early. They gave me IVIG therapy and this didn't work. Finally after taking medications for this supposed ilness for 6 months aqnd having reactions to the meds, the neurologist finally said that the Topamx could be causing the symptons of Mya thesia Gravis. I stopped taking the medicine and I can breath and do all sorts of things now. ## I was put on this medication 3 1/2 yrs ago for a seizure disorder. I am using 20 mg Lexamil in the morning I also is om Eltroxin and Estropause 2 mg I got sideaffects such as naussea running stomach sweat a lot headaches cold and hot flushes shivering Please help I sometimes cannot get out of bed. ## I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through there with all those side effects. If I may suggest anything that could be of help, it would be that you consider looking into alternative or natural medicine to treat whatever it is you're taking those prescriptions for. As far as taking Lexamil (Escitalopram) goes, in my honest opinion, your best bet it usually to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. They are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and can also help you treat the underlying ca...

I've been on coreg 4 days. Side effects are so bad, I'm so tired I can hardly move and just feel s****y. I stopped for 2 days for a stress evaluation and had no problem at that time. Then I took one 3.125 last night. I don't want to take anymore. Is there any problem stopping treatment? My blood pressure wasn't that high to begin with, maybe around 140 over 80. ## Hello, Ralph! How are you? Those side effects can be normal for the first few weeks after starting such a medication. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination. However, they are usually transient and should go away, once your body gets used to the medication. The danger to not taking it is that your blood pressure could keep going higher. It's actua...

I inserted the Estring and within two hours had diarrhea and cramping, then chills. I kept it in for six more hours but was really feeling sick, so removed it. Literally felt better within the hour. I'd like to try it again but wonder if this would likely be a permanent issue or if this stomach thing will resolve itself as my body gets used to it? ## Those can be side effects of using a hormonal supplement, and it may take about 3 months for them to go away, according to FDA reports. Other side effects can include mood changes, weight changes, and irritability. Have you tried it, again? Are you on any other medications? How old are you?

I took Xarelto for 4 months. I put on 20 pounds, developed severe feet, and knee pain. always tired some blurry vision. I've been off it for 10 days and still have the symptoms. ## Hello, Al! How are you? You are just one of many that have complained about such side effects from Xarelto. It will likely take another week, or two, before you start feeling back to normal. What have you replaced it with?

What kind of health issues has your son/daughter have that you think are related to Yutopar? Am I going crazy. Really trying to get answers for my son. Please help. ## Hi Maria Wilson, You are definitely not alone. There are lots of parents who have children that suffer with mental and emotional disorders due to this medication. I personally don't have children so I can only sympathize and hope that your situation gets better. I will link you to a thread where people on the site discuss Yutopar and the negative effects that it has had on their children. I'm sure you will be able to find the answers you need from someone ...

To all that are suffering from diarrhea from taking 2000!mg of Metformin someone posted taking Metamucil every morning to elieviate this problem and I gave a try and it worked beautifully for me It's been 3 months since I have had an issue. This may not work for everyone ,but you have nothing to lose.I tried a small container of a store brand and it had great results. One heaping teaspoon in a 8oz glass of water every morning.I really hope this works for everyone. ## Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of Metformin, according the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, flatulence, stomach pain, and hypoglycemia. Metamucil contains fiber, so it may also cause diarrhea, so while it may help some, results could be different for others. Is there anything else I can help with?

My wife had to be hospitalized for confusion and hearing voices etc while on xarelto and has since switched to eliquis and is much better, but I think that xarelto did some damage and she is still experiencing some problems but not as severe. ## What problems is she still experiencing? Such events aren't listed by the FDA, or NIH as being side effects of Xarelto. It's typical ones usually include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, easy bruising, and anxiety. Is this the only medication she is on? Has she ever been diagnosed with depression or another mental issue?

I have been on 50mg of metropilol for 11 years and have had chronic diaharrea for most of that time. What else can I use that won't cause this ## Metoprolol is used in the treatment of several diseases of the cardiovascular system, especially hypertension. Were you prescribed this medication specifically for hypertension? If you were, there is a large variety of natural and prescription options for controlling and lowering high blood pressure. I would suggest the natural alternatives if you want to avoid a majority of possible side effects associated with prescriptions. ## Yes I was treated because i had had a heart attack. I was also given apo-ramipril which has the same side effects so im not sure which is the diggest culprit because when i read them both they both have many of th...

I was prescribed this tablet for blood thinning, after taking just one tablet, I had the most dreadful side affects. The worst has been itching, even after having stopped the tablet a week ago, I had very bad nausea for 3 days, shocking water retention in feet & ankles, even 3, 40 grams furemuside a day didn't fix it. That has resolved itself, headache, constipation, I never have that. I am back taking aspirin, still feeling unwell & the itchiness does not want to go away, no matter what I try. ## Are you on any other medications, or just the Aspirin? While the NIH does warn that many medications can cause itching as side effects, and they do list it being possible with Xarelto, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, easy bruising, and increased risk of bleeding. However, it...

medicine for sinus excess thick post nasal drainage drainage. I have to swallow continuously. I have bad breath also for last 20 years ## Without knowing your complete medical history, including any other medications you may be on, no one can guess at a possible solution. Have you seen a doctor for this? What other medications have you tried? Such a thing can be very tricky, since you have to get to the root of the problem, whether it is caused by allergies or an infection and each of those requires a specific treatment to help resolve the issue.

My 8yo son has been issued Intuniv for his ADHD. He is on 4mg. He has been getting this pill at 7pm. I know that one of the side affects is sleeplessness. He is calming down at 3 or 4 am every day.
