Hi, I am long time anxiety patient - i've been on paxil, buspar, lexapro, zanaflex, remrom, flexiril, tricyciclants, trazodone - you name it. Also, with this I have had bad insomnia. I will not sleep for nights at a time, and it is affecting my work as well as my social life. I have tried (for sleep) Lunesta 2-4mg, Ambien 20mg, Sonata 40mg, and Prosom 2mg. I also aso tried restriol. For anxiety I have been on Ativan, Valium, Klonopin, and Versed. At the time, none of the night medicines work, I will even combine them. I have been on 20mg of Celexa for 5 weeks now. I have noticed little difference. I have to take ativan to get through the day! When can I expect to feel better? ## It usually only takes 4 to 5 weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in your body. After 21 years of driving, I suddenly develop of a fear of driving. I've been to my doctor who indicated that my high stress levels has caused this sudden fear. I am 44 yrs old. I had been gone under surgery for thyroid in 1997. Till 2011 I haven't checked for tsh levels. When I checked in 2011 it was 64 ui/ml tsh and t4 t3 were normal. Doctor prescribed me for levothyroxine 25mg and gradually up to 100 mg. When I was taking 100mg my tsh level was 10 ui/ml which was near to normal.
