I've taken amoxicillin 875mg twice a day for 21 days. I started out with a bad sinus infection and ear infection. I'm still running a low-grade fever, blowing thick yellow junk out of my nose & coughing up brown junk when i first get up. I've also been using floxanose nose spray and I'm aching in my back and sicker now than i was when i went to the doctor. It is consistent dosing that's important, you have to keep it in your system at a consistent regular level, in order for it to eradicate the bacteria. So, you can take it, either way, whichever works best for you, but keep the timing as precise as possible. If you take 2 of them twice a day, keep them as close to 12 hours apart as possible; or if you take it 4 times a day, keep them as close to 6 hours apart as possible. I'm on the butrans 20 mg patch and had been taking cephalexin and clindamycin for an abscessed tooth for over 2 weeks. My urine screening came back showing that I had no methylphenidate or suboxone in my urine. I've been consistent on keeping my patch on for 7 days and changing when due. I take 60 mg of methylphenidate daily and I've never failed in 3 years. Could these antibiotics be the reason why?

hi,i've been on methadone,at 90mg/once a day, for 5years. Due to an infection stemming from a cracked tooth in the back of my mouth that spread rapidly, i now have MRSA and am on my fifth round of antibiotics. Been going to Nashville TN clinic for ten years. Past 5 years on a two week take home code with 0 problems. Didn't want to go to monthly. Got a dry socket and dentist gave me vicodin 5's. She knew I was on the methadone but realized after ten years the pain management aspect is non existent. Filled scripts, got antibiotics too, and took one each. I was admitted in the hospital for 4 days, due to a severe reaction to poison ivy. Both of my legs were really swollen, red, painful, & hot to the touch. The doctors ran a complete CBC blood count & it was confirmed that my white blood count was high, my potassium was low, & that I also have an immune difficiency.
