I have a baby. He is six years old. For the last 3 days/nights he has been suffering from a fever and cough. Please suggest me an antibiotic name that could help. ## Have you consulted his doctor? An appropriate medication will depend on what issue is causing these symptoms. The NIH lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Is he on any other medications? ## My son is 4 years old & he is coughing a lot. I want to know the difference between novamox and monocef-o, 100. I'm having a kid of 3 years old, he suffering from fever from 1 week. I used crosin suspension for this bt after 5 to 6 hours again fever comes, also having cough, khasi, redness of eyes and cheek. Doctor suggested me to give him monocef but I'm having novamox.... ## They are both antibiotics, but they do not contain the same active ingredient. Monocef contains Cefpodoxime, and Novamox contains Amoxicillin. i m 29 years old and delieverd a baby boy 20 days back, as i was suffering from fever and my doctor advised me to take Zenflox 200 twice a day as an antibiotic to cure any infection. My 2 yr old has had a fever, cold and cough for the past 2 days. He was prescribed azithral 100mg syrup 5no, once a day with Crocin DS for his fever and asthalin expectorant for the cough. Today, this morning he had loose stools that were greenish and frothy. Is this a side effect of the antibiotic or should I be worried? Also, I noticed white small worms (2mm) swimming in his feces.
