I take Linzess 1/2 hr. before breakfast. When should I take my other meds. Levothyroxine I take alone. I also take Furosemide, Januvia, Ramopri, Atenanal, insulin, and Duloxetine . THANK YOU ! ## Hi Eileen, According the University of Maryland's drug interaction checker, there are interactions listed between the following drug combinations: Furosemide + Ramipril: Taking the two together can reportedly cause low blood pressure. It may also increase your risk of certain side effects. Umm.edu recommends contacting your doctor if you experience diversions from your usual blood pressure or unusual weight gain. Januvia (Sitagliptin) + Levothyroxine: Taking Levothyroxine with anti-diabetic agents such as Januvia / Insulin, may cause them to not work as well. Umm.edu recommends contacting y...

Hope this helps. ## I need help for a painful situation in my mouth. I'm type 1 diabetic and have a terrible burning tongue. I take cymgen and also have side effects of tiredness and lightheadedness. Please advise. ## No I have nt found any info on the question about burning mouth syndome. ## What I found which is giving bit of relieve for burning tongue is taking enough revotril tabs. Really giving me relieve. ## If you think back or check your appointment book, could the burning have started after a dental procedure? That's when mine started. They are many articles on nerve damage from the needle hitting the wrong n...

for diabtes type 2 white metformin 500 mg bid caplet ## Yes, Metformin is an oral anti-diabetic drug (in the biguanide class). You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below... Just curious, but have you ever looked into any natural methods for controlling the diabetes? Type 2 diabetes can be "cured" on a raw food diet consuming lots of fruits, veggies, seeds and nuts. I hope this can shed some light for you for other options besides prescription meds. Please post back if you have any more questions or comments to add.

Oral Diabetic Medication ## Needs information ## My husband takes Avandia for his diabetes. As far as I can find out Avandament is not as affective as Avandia is. Read this from the FDA web site. Always trying to give us cheaper drugs when the compr omise our health. Hope I helped. You can also ask your friendly pharmacist as the are very helpful to me where my meds ar concerned ## The medication Avandamet contains Metformin and Rosiglitazone, both of which are FDA approved and effective oral antidiabetic medications. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, hypoglycemia and flatulence. You can learn more Metformin details here and you can learn more Rosiglitazone details here. My wife was taken off Respidol and is showing signs of depression and shakes. ## Are you referring to the drug Risperdal, the antipsychotic? If so, then these are normal withdrawal effects. Usually, a person is tapered off of this type of medication. ## my husband has recently been diagnosed with bi polar and he is also a diabetic...insulin dependent..the doctors put him on depakote and another pill to take at night...ive noticed since then that he is unusually paranoid of everything i do or anything that is around him...he seen a doctor today and informed them of this paranoia and they put him on respidol..i am very concerned of all these meds he is taking and im wondering if one med is gonna lead to another med..and so on and so on...

I would like to know what this pill is please, small white pill with a G scored then Z and plain back. I have came across it in my home and it doesn't belong to any meds I recognise so worried where its came from. Help appreciated. ## Hi sonia, The closest match I can find is Gliclazide (80 mg); which is a white round pill with the imprint G Z on one side divided by a score line and C on the back. Gliclazide is an oral hypoglycemic (anti-diabetic drug) and is classified as a sulfonylurea. From what I can gather, this medication is manufactured in the UK and Canada, it is sometimes combined with the U.S. drug Metformin. Do you think this could be your pill?

Father was put on seraquel. He is 82 and has dementia. He got very aggressive in an angry manner. He is also on Parkinson's medications, diabetic, and blood thinners. They use (nursing home) Ativan when he is having bad days. We were not aware they had put him on seraquel. He was then sent to facility to have all meds reviewed. Changed from seraquel to Risperdal while there and to new parkinsons medication. From what I have read even the Risperdal is not approved for this. Are there any options? ## I would suggest speaking to his care givers, because if he was becoming aggressive, that may be why he's been given the Risperdal, it's a very potent antipsychotic that has a sedating like effect. It's frequently used in autistic children to treat symptoms of irritability and ...

I have to take my meds every 12 hours. I took my first dose at 3pm. When do I take the next? ## The next dose should be taken at 3am, according to FDA guidelines. Thus, if you don't wish to be up at 3am, you may want to change your dosing schedule. What medication are you taking? Knowing this would enable me to provider with more precise information. ## 3 am and then the next day at 3 pm and so on. ## I'm taking a antibiotic for my sinus infection. It says to take it every 12 hours by mouth. So what does that mean? ## It means that you should take the recommended dose once every 12 hours. So if you took one dose at 9 am, you should take the next dose at 9 pm. Does that make sense? ## It depends on the drug. Is it time critical such as a diabetic med or an antibiotic. Diabetic me...

I do take oxycodone 5 mg every 12 hours and I take naproxen 440 mg every 8 hours. I have swelling of my feet ankles and lower legs, mostly on the left. The anti-inflamatory properties of the naproxen doesn't seem to help the swelling to reduce at all. What could be inhibiting this? I am also type 2 diabetic and take 1000 mg twice a day. I also mix turmeric and ginger into my herbal tea, at least once per day. I use about 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of those spices and 1 tbsp raw honey. ## Lisa, Has your doctor ever prescribed or recommended a diuretic like lasix ? I find no contraindications listed for the Concurrent use of NSAIDs /anti inflammatory like Aleve causing edema. As a diabetic on powerful Narcotic meds it's vital you discuss these issues with your treating doctor. I wish you t...
