I have cellulittes in left ancle and leg is cephalexin 500 mg what I need ## Hi Flonnie, Based on my research Cephalexin is actually regarded as one of the recommended drugs for treating Cellulitis in it's early stages. From what I could gather, the usual adult dose of Cephalexin (in the treatment of Cellulitis), is 500mgs orally every 6 hours, for up to 7-10 days. Depending on how severe each individual case is, other more powerful antibiotics may also be recommended, such as Vancomycin, Daptomycin, or Linezolid. I hope this helps to answer your question! ## cephalexin 500 mg is a green capsule with the number 219 on it. hope this helps

My doctor will not prescribe generic Wellbutrin XL but my insurance will no longer pay for brand name drugs. I will have to pay about $7000 per yer for what I am taking now (3 of the 150mg Wellbutrin XL brand name per day). I am reading that the problem with the generics is the time release mechanism and not the drug itself and that some are better than others. Anybody have experience with the generics made by Watson and /or Anchen? ## I have no experience using it, but I do understand the problems that can occur with generic medications. I also did some searching and from what I've found online, most that have tried the one manufactured by Anchen have had good results with it. However, you may not get the same results, the only way to find out is to actually try it and see how it w...

I have been taking 450mg of buproprian made by "GLobal", I think, for one month. I went from 300mg Bup. made by Anchen & doc saw fit to raise dose. I feel worse now than when we made the change and I think it is because all generic drugs are not made the same. I have experienced lower eficacy using other generics. ## You are correct, they are not all the same. Generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window and for most people it doesn't cause a problem. However, if you are sensitive to medications, the slight fluctuations that can occur when switching from one generic to another, since they aren't required to measure against each other...

Have been using Bupropian HCL XL 300 mg tabs for over 5 years. The markins have always been A102 from Anchen manufacturing. Now I received a M B9 pill fro Mylan pharma - which has alot of different ingredients than the other. I have had ZERO luck with taking different manufacturing products over the years. DOes anyone know where I can get a clear view on the difference in these pills . Drugs.com has the inactive ingredients. Called doctor also, but they are more of a try and see type. Anyone have issues with M B9 ## Well, unfortunately, your doctor is right, there's really no way to know how it may affect you, until you try it. Did you take any, yet? If you do have a problem with them, you can always ask your pharmacy if they can order the other ones back in for you. ## I have not t...

white oval ## Ativan (Lorazepam); I was on it for a couple of years and a doctor took me off abruptly ie. circumstances. It was the most terrible, terrible, withdrawal reaction. I went thru a week of nervous jerks, all the time, for about a week. I was miserable. After that I never wanted to risk withdrawing like that again. Make sure you taper when getting off. My ancient oracles advised me never to take it again. Make sure that the prescribing doctor is trustworthy. A good pill for calming nerves. . .don't take more than absolutely necessary. There are several other minor tranquilizers that might not have a similar traumatic withdrawal. What are your symptoms; could another class of drugs be as beneficial ie. for sleep like Pamelor etc or a major tranquilizer in the psychotropic c...

diet/ance pill ## Sorry, this isn't listed in any of the U.S. databases and other countries do not regulate their drugs the way the FDA does, so I cannot find any information on it. I would suggest asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
