They are just manufactured by different companies. The one marked 54 375 is manufactured by Roxane Labs and the one marked AN 415 is a product of Amneal Pharma. I just got off 8mg suboxone strip a day and now my insurance won't cover any because of my rise in copay, I was just wondering is there any difference in the, an 415's and the films besides being slower to kick in and dissolve? I took 2mgs off a, an 415 . And not working near as well.. ## Other than what you mentioned about the tablets potentially being slower to kick in and dissolve, the only difference I'm aware of is the list of inert ingredients used in the AN 415 (Amneal Pharma) tablet, which reportedly contains the following set of binder/fillers: acesulfame potassium + citric acid anhydrous + FD & C Yellow No. 6 + lactose monohydrate + magnesium stearate + mannitol + povidone + sodium citrate + corn starch. From my experience, I believe a number of these fillers c...

I have a round orange pill with AN on the top and 415 underneath. I'm pretty sure its a generic suboxone, but how do I take it? Do I swallow it or let it dissolve under my tongue? ## Hi Teresa, Just to confirm, the round orange pill in description is in fact a generic Suboxone tablet; containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine + 2mgs of Naloxone. Manufacturer: Amneal Pharmaceuticals As far as proper dosing goes, the guidelines state that sublingual tablets should be placed under the tongue until it is completely dissolved. Apparently, swallowing the tablets can reduce the bioavailability of the drug itself. However, you may want to discuss this more with your doctor first, since dosing instructions can be somewhat patient specific, depending on the case. You can learn more about this drug on ...

I've always gotten the orange Amneal marked AN 415. Recently in the past few months the main pharmacy I was using Walgreens were telling me that they were out of those kind and I had to look for pharmacies that did have them after receiving the white Actavis brand which was the worst switch! I just looked right next door to Safeways who did have them. Eventually Walgreens told me they were no longer going to be getting those kind after telling me that they were on "back order" for so long. The pharmacist who is usually nice was a jerk about it also. So I moved permanently (or so I hoped) to Safeway but the last 2 months they too ran out and were allot nicer in telling me that they have been having a hard time ordering the Amneal orange ones and that they might not be getting...

Hi. I have a close friend that is prescribed these. She has had additiction issues in the past. She's prone to epileptic seizures... She is prescribed Lamictal for this. She explains to me that the AN 415 Orange pill is also prescribed to her. What would the effect be if she took too many, like say 8 to 12 or 15? Bottom,line... Would or could these used to get a high? If so... What would that "high" be like, what characteristics would I feel if I did this. Thanks ## This medication is actually most commonly used to treat drug addiction. I was taking Suboxone films for over two years and they worked incredibly well for me. This month I was switched over to the generic Suboxone tablets (the orange, round AN 415) because my insurance will no longer pay for the films. I am already having plenty of issues with the new medication. First of all, it takes over 1.5 hours for one tab to dissolve under the tongue. I take two 8/2mg tabs, so it takes over 3 hours a day to take these meds. It doesn't even dissolve completely after this time frame; it just turns into a large, thick pile of paste that sits under my tongue and between my bottom teeth. The taste is nauseating, especially when it is sitting in my mouth for over three hours. Either the dosage is not the same as the films, or these tabs are not absorbing correctly, bec...

I wason the AN 415 orange generic suboxone tablets and for no reason at all other than to cut their ordering costs Rite Aide just switched to the 93/5721 generic suboxone tablets they are no where near as good I have diarrhea, nausea, irritability and high blood pressure after switching to the Teva brand. The pharmacy swears the tablets are the same milligrams and same active ingredients, but I highly disagree. I was slowly tapering down on the orange AN 415 but since being put on these I can't do that any longer. I usually don't complain when insurance was covering it but I am disabled and only get $630 a month since I'm paying $301 out of pocket for them each month I expect the best. ## Wow! That is a crazy out of pocket cost, I can't believe the prices for some medicat...

I was prescribed and took Suboxone Films for 3 years, and tolerated them very well. Unfortunately, my insurance stopped paying for the films, and I had to start taking the generic Suboxone tablets (Buprenorphine/Naloxone 8/2mg sublingual tablets). I filled my first prescription at Rite Aid, where they gave me the hard, orange tablets made by "Amneal", with the imprint "AN 415". I went into withdrawal the second day after beginning those pills. That was the worst month of my life, as that medication did absolutely nothing beneficial. This month, I took my prescription to CVS, where I was given peach colored tablets with the imprint of "54 375", manufactured by "Roxane". While this brand is slightly better than the Amneal brand, I am still having adverse ef...

I been taking buprenorphine nalox 8mg 2mg white round tabs logo halfmoon and 155 on the other. I have always gotten them at walgreens. Just this month they stopped taking my insurance and I had to switch to CVS. I went in to fill in my script today for the first time at CVS since I have always gone to walgreens. When I went to cvs to pick them up I noticed they were different these are round orange pill with AN 415 on the front. The problem is these are not working for me hardly at all like the white ones did. And idk what to do. So I'm just wondering whether they are they same and why these orange ones aren't working for me when they white activis ones did. My girlfriend takes Suboxone and recently the pharmacy has switched brands. They are orange, slightly smaller and have 970 on one side. I think she is having terrible SE from them. Under her tongue is raw so bad. Also hot flashes. Severe. Head to toe she gets soaked! This seems since the pharmacy changed pills. Has anyone had these symptoms? ## Yes!! These new orange Sun Pharma 970 are awful! I was unfortunate to get some of those with my last script. I hated them so bad I searched over 7 pharmacies in towns an hour away just to find the Amneal AN 415 orange ones again this past Saturday for my months script. Thank goodness i found a pharmacy with just enough to fill my whole script so I wouldn't have to take any of those other kind. I am a self pay patient so I can usually switch w...
