I have had a chronic debilitating cough on and off for 15 years. Last 5 years was constant. After many chest X rays and tests I was prescribed Tramadol 50mg morning and night. After hours of taking 1st tablet cough was gone. I do not want to be on Tramadol forever. I have tried to decrease my tablets slowly under doctors supervision but when I get down to omitting 2 a week cough is back. Do I puish through or is there something else for the cough.
