Is Ampiclox harmful during pregnancy?

I want to know if Ampiclox from Beecham is harmful to a six weeks and five days pregnancy? ## Hi Stella - According to the MHRA, Ampiclox is a combination of penicillin type antibiotics Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. Both are considered relatively safe during pregnancy (Ampicillin more so). As long as you are taking them under your doctor's supervision during the pregnancy you and your unborn child should be okay, especially if your doctor has decided to prescribe the medication knowing that you are pregnant.
