My daughter started taking this medication in Feb. and became very anger and out of control, could this be cause from this medciation ## Mixed Amphetamine Salts are a stimulant medication used to treat conditions such as ADHD and Narcolepsy. I recently started taking generic Adderall (Amphetamine Salts 10 mg manufactured by Teva) since that's all my insurance company will pay for. But I have severe gluten intolerance and have been having a lot of stomach issues recently and am wondering if there's gluten in any of the fillers. I was diagnosed with ADHD and was prescribed Adderall (I believe the bottle was 10mg of amphetamine salts but I think it had a word that started with a d like Dextroamphetamine maybe?) Anyways, I tooke it more than a few times and it was SUCH A HELP you could tell the difference. So then I got my refill and was pretty happy. However, today is my first day taking the refill, and although it is the same 10mg dosage as before, I feel no effects.... My body should be use to the adderall because I've taken it before, so why am I not experiencing any of the effects at all? It feels like I was given sugar pills haha. I was recently diagnosed with Adult ADD and have been prescribed Amphetamine Salts (Generic for Adderall) for a few months now. The initial dosage was one 10mg tablet/ three times a day and recently my Doctor upped the dosage to one 30mg tablet/ twice a day. I know that overall this has been very beneficial for me but I cant help but wonder if the generic brand (IR Amphetamine Salts) has less of the active ingredient, and more unnecessary side effects(irritability, fatigue). I know that while the active ingredients are likely to be the same, the "fillers" usually are not and even the active ingredients can vary up to 10%. I always go to the same pharmacy to get my prescriptions filled, but this time, I was on my way to school so I stopped at a different pharmacy and got my adderall filled there. My usual pills are generic 10mg, as are these new ones. My normal pill bottle reads: Amphetamine Salts 10mg, gen for Adderall 10mg tablet. take one tablet twice a day. These are made by Caraco Pharmaceuticals, I believe (well that's what the bottle says, so I'm assuming that's what it means). They are a turquoise-ish color, and round.
