Amphetamine Salt Stomach Problems

My son switched from Concerta to the generic version Adderall (b973 orange pill) several months ago. Recently he has been experiencing the following problems - sleeplessness, extreme restlessness, loss of appetite, headaches, upset stomach and even had a bout with vomiting one day. I would like him to change medications but how do we wean him and what medications can you suggest? He is an adult, but does not think it is the medication but believes he needs some other medication to counteract this.
