I have amoxicillin trihydrate powder that was prescribed by my doctor for my daughter that I never used. I kept it in the fridge since may (it expires in 2018). I also have the appropriate amount of distilled water also given to me by the pharmacist. Upon speaking to the pharmacist I was just told the powder was not supposed to be kept in the fridge. Can I still use it?

Referenced from: nhs.uk/medicine-guides/pages/MedicineOverview.aspx?condition=Bacterial%20infections&medicine=Amoxicillin%20trihydrate&preparationAmoxicillin%20250mg%20capsules That said, I think you may have to be you're own best judge as to when and how often you decide to drink while you're taking this medication (basing it off of how you feel). Personally, if I were to drink, I would wait till after I feel the effects of the medication kick in, so I know that it's already working. I hope this info helps!
