Amoxicillin Go Bad

I was wondering if amoxicillin really goes bad or does it just lose it's strength? ## It is not one of the antibiotics that becomes dangerous, once it's expired, but yes, it does start to lose effectiveness, which creates the risk of it not fully eradicating bacteria and its developing antibiotic resistance. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I see both nyquil and amoxicillin have acetaminophen. I take amoxicillin once daily for hip pain. I have very bad cold and need a Nyquil. Can I take it. Hi, I was just wondering if liquid Amoxicillin actually goes bad & could possibly harm someone, or does it just lose its potency? I have a bladder infection that makes my urinating urgent and sometimes uncontrollable. I was given a prescription for smz-tmp to treat it. I have been religiously taking Lo Loestrin Fe for 3 years and I recently got strep throat and was prescribed Amoxicillin.
