Amoxicillin 875 Mg Side Effects

I had a severe reaction to this where I broke out starting at my hands and feet with itching, then broke out around my lips and eyes and then my legs from top to bottom. My tongue swelled and itched everywhere. I took benadryl, then my heart started to hurt, feeling like an attack. I do know that the amoxicillin caused the itch and swelling of my tongue but do not know what caused my heart to react. ## Hi Christina, I'm sorry you had to go through all that. I have a prescription for amoxicillin 875 mg twice a day for uti.. It upsets my stomach a bit so I wondered if I can break them in half and take them 4 times a day. I am taking 875 mg of amoxicillin-clav 2x a day. Very dizzy and upset stomach the first day , then diarrhea. The worst of it is the ringing in the ears and anxiety close to panic feeling. I 'm on treatment with this medication for ten days, after I've been diagnosed Diverticulosis. I have a bad stye on my lower eyelid and it is causing my eye to become red. Can I use Amoxicillin-Clavulanic acid 875mg for my eye? Last time I had this I had periocular cellulitis and I have the same symptoms.
