I have a gum infection and my dentist put me on amoxicillin 500 3Xday. I have been on it for 5 days and the gums look and feel fine but the xray still shows a pocket of infection beside the tooth. The gum drained within 24 hrs. of being on the meds and has not reformed a pus sack on the gum. I only have 2 days left of the prescription. Will it be enough? My dentist thinks the infection was caused by something entering under the gum ( probably popcorn ). Thank you ## Hello, Kathy! How are you doing? Has there been any change? I have diverticulitis. I am taking amox clav 875 2x a day. It makes me sweat at night and I don't normally sweat. I smell just like the pills. Its horrible. How long will this last? ## Hello, Tj! My friend says its amoxicillian..i will not take anything with no imprint until im sure what it is. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? That's a very wise stance to have. And no, if there are no markings on it, then it is not Amoxicillin. All prescription tablets that are approved and available in the U.S. have markings on them to enable their identification. If it has no markings, it is most likely just some type of over the counter product and being round and white, that leaves it open to many possibilities. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else have any ideas what this might be? ## I know people who take small, white pills with a line down the middle. She says it's oxycodone, & I believe it. Her eyes are always contracted. Be safe.

Recently I have taken Clarithromyacin as part of a two week treatment along with Amoxicillian and Lanzoprazole to try to cure H Pylori. I also take Phenobarbitone and Phenytoin to control my Epilepsy which has been successful for over 37 years. However since completing the course of Clarithromyacin etc last week I have experienced nerve spasms and some slight muscle twitches. The patient leaflet informs you that in very rare cases while taking the drug convuslions may occur but it does not state whether or not there are any known side effects once the drug is no longer taken. I recently had a hip resurfacing 6 weeks ago and am doing well, no pain etc, last week i went on Amoxicillian 500/125mg 10 day course for a sinus infection and i now have hip pain a real stitch in my groin, could this be related to my infection or the amoxicillian? it's a worry as it's making me limp again, can any one advise me. ## I take antibiotics 500 and a looks of bumps come out on my skin

I am taking the above medication and am having a severe pain in the back of my head. Like a shock. Any ideas if this is something serious? Im also taking amoxicillian with it. Hi my dog was diagnosed with kennel cough. Or that's what they think. Despite her no contact with other dogs. She was prescribed clavaseptin 50mg every 12 hr.
