Is this a sulfa base drug ## From what I can this is not a sulfa based drug, as Amoxicillin does not appear to be on the list of sulfonamides I found (only two other antibiotics were listed). I don't know however, if this list is a complete list or partial list of sulfa based medications. For this reason, it may be a good idea to double check with your local pharmacy regarding this pill. I have a tooth infection and was given Augmentin and the doctor knows I'm allergic to penicillin.
